The beauty of a pleasant moment. The sounds of a new gate opening. An unfamiliar building in an unfamiliar compound. A boy I never seen before came before me. A fresh new start that awaited me was what I thought. His wisdom was unimaginable. His enthusiasm about trains, buses and video games was what I loved and wished to hear again. His mannerism was something I'd admire. He wanted to be an urban planner. I do too. His pain was what I can understand. He brought me comfort, joy and anxiety simultaneously. I can never take my eyes off him. I can never take my mind off him. My only fear was losing him. My fear turned to jealousy. It evolved to resentment and pain. He understood. But I'd always let him down all the time. What more can God give me to love that boy. I told him I liked him. He understood but can never fathom to see me the same way again. He replied back of not ready to be in a relationship. I understood him. Now, I am alone without him. Him with his friends. Enjoying his days like before. I suffer to see it go. But its life. It's inevitable. My mistakes cost us everything. I ranted how I made everything worst. But it didn't help. And now I have to move on and let got the very past.

She's a pebble skipping in a pond. A faint scent in the breeze. A leaf that finds itself swept by the river. I didnt mean to hurt her. But I cant say I didnt know I would. Isnt that bad enough? I still think of the good nights. When I would sneak into her bedroom at her parents house. I didnt think much of it. But the delight I felt as her smile revealed a suble bite of the lip... I died for it. So you can't blame me for being scared at the composure with which she carried herself outside the bedroom. Goal Oriented. Organaized. I knew she wanted something out of life. She figured out what I never could. I've heard shes finally a physicist now, but I'm too much of a coward to ask. I never knew to stand still. Or think far ahead like she did. I have some other 'purpouse' to find. Whatever that means. By summer of that year I knew I'd break her heart. And by the following Autum, I did. She said she'd come with me and I almost let my selfishness allow that. Dreams are stronger than romance. It hurt to tell her that. I'm sure in other circumstances we'd both laugh it off as a cheesy quote. She walked me to the train station. I could feel a soft tremble in her grasp. Like she was setting down something she didnt want to let go. I thought her mind would falter and she'd tighten her grip and I'd be jerked back into town at any moment. But it never happened. To anyone else, this was a regular trip to the train station. We kissed on the cheek and hugged. And then we kissed on the lips like we had been together. Like we would never let go of the other. And when our eyes met again, she cried. I didn't, and told her I was sorry. We wished the best for the other. Pleasentaries with mountains of emotion. We smiled. It was gentle. It was sweet. As the train parted the station we didnt take our eyes off of each other. But then her image drifted past my window and all that was left was an image of her in my mind. I see her dejected silluete staring at the train as it drives by. Yearning for what was and what could have been. I dont remember much of the trip, but at the darkness of the tunnel, in the seconds before the lights came on, I cried.
