Most of the videos I take have to do with horses (these are usually from the saddle), nature, horses AND nature, or music.
I started uploading to youtube in order to share videos of my sons' musical performances, years ago. Now I do it mainly as a way of including video content in my blog (jessicaeblack.org/)... and ok, sometimes as part of my day job as a professor! My teaching channel is www.youtube.com/@Drjessicablack

Beautiful saddle!! I love the asymmetrical floral tooling on the back of the seat. I have only had a couple of used McCall saddles, which were extremely well made. Nice to see they still do beautiful work.
what setting do you have on your tens machine?
Start at lowest and then go up to where the horse tolerates. As they get better, they tolerate lower settings. At the beginning I’d raise Lady to the maximum setting. Then as she got better, lower and lower.
How do you get the electrodes to stick?
Gel. Just put a bit of gel and lay on horse. They stay!
R❤n
I used to love flying from California to Tennessee. It was Soo beautiful. One time while flying across New Mexico, I seen a town in the formation of the Cross ✝️. That was awesome 👍🏼😎😊
The way to go! ❤
"She is being a special form of stupid" my horse every day😂
😂
maybe be easier on the horse if your 160 pounds were not on top him.
Sure would but then she wouldn’t get in shape. I led her up (and down) many hills too. We do mounted and leading in every ride.
She isn’t dirty, she’s pretty dirty🥰🥰🥰🥰, a beautiful girl for sure.
Interesting. It doesn't look like the Stonewall saddle based on the photos on their website. Yours doesn't look like the seat size is adjustable??
Mine is one of the originals. Read about it here: jessicaeblack.org/the-old-stonewall-endurance-saddle/
i love it , shes a dollbaby and the saddle will last several lifetimes . def on my wishlist !!!!!!!!!!!!
This is NOT okay, you're such an irresponsible horse owner, you have your lead rope hanging on the floor, oops your horse steps on it, broken neck. and Hobbels?? in the pasture? thats stupid, hobbles are only for super advanced horse TRAINERS and you have to be with them to help them learn..
I was with him. This is after I was sure he wouldn’t hurt himself 😜 he’s just trying to figure it out. And horses don’t break their necks from stepping on trailing lead ropes. Just out of curiosity… how many horses have you owned? How many have you trained?
@@lareinedumonde no, you were not with him. He is in the pasture and if something went wrong I can bet you money that you will not jump that fence to go save him. guess what.. the halter is on their heads!! and guess what.. if the step on the lead it yanks down there heads. I right now own 3. I have owned 3 more, trained 5 of them.
@@KoraTheEquestrian I meant I was with him when he was learning. When I took this video, he had been wearing hobbles safely for some time. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing (heading for the closed gate that's half a mile away) and how to do it safely. And there is NO fence. I was on the same big property with him. You probably should get some more details and possibly more experience before leaping to conclusions.
@@lareinedumonde Yeah but does he really know how to use them? it seems as he cant walk forward, so what do you think he understands?
@@KoraTheEquestrian He's not SUPPOSED to walk forward. He understands that, and also understands that if he HOPS forward he can go where he wants. He's really very smart ;-) He's found a workaround. He's not scared or anxious. He thinks he's outsmarted me. That's ok. He can't go anywhere.
Practice makes perfect 🏇🏼🍎🥕
I love being around horses, but you can’t be around one. If you’re in the city I miss the country I love horses no animals don’t talk but they were horses. Demeanor is so cool they make you happy.
Smart Arabs!!
Great horses well trained!
❤❤❤❤😊
Horses that trust their person and havent been traumatized somehow involving a trailer. That is the way they should load.❤❤
The things on the necks....
Momentary language dysfunction 🤪
😂😂😂😂 Not all of them.
Put the things ????? Yes those who are trained Give this lady a first timer
I have had many first timers (easy) and more previously broken horses (those are the hard ones). These mares have loaded many times with me and are very good 😉 I would need a third hand or my GoPro to record getting a difficult one in. I’ll do it at some point.
If it were only so easy😢
It is once you’ve done the training right. These mares have done this so often they load themselves. But obviously I’ve done it DOZENS of times before.
Well unlike most of the people loading horses on here this trailer has a ramp small but they don’t expect the horses to jump in. Especially horses bought at auctions. You don’t know that horse you bought.
Perfect
Well Done 👏 👏 ❤❤❤😊😊
It’s hilarious how Republicans aren’t even remotely surprised or outraged about the pardon but the Dems are losing their minds. It tells me that actually BELIEVE that their party is good and honest. It’s not an act. Welcome to reality, ya woke idjits.
Arizona right
California
Beautiful and well trained.❤❤❤❤❤
My arab loved to go for a ride in a trailer the problem was unloading her
Why was that?
If only….
Both horses have the kindest eyes. They have gentle hearts, ❤. I grew up with Paso Finos, 7 mares, and 1 stallion... Horses were my best friends😊
Arabians?
Yep
Beauties
Horse is sweaty
No, you are!!!
Mainly wet. I hosed her off after riding and she rolled🙄
That thing around the neck is called a lead road. It is attached to the halter. You should stay attached to both horses if one or both are frightened by something you will not need to chase the horse down the road😮
😅 tell me you have never been around a spooked or fearful horse without telling me u never have. You will not stay with that horse if they decide to take off, they will drag your ass, this is how loading should go.
I know it's a lead rope ;-) They won't get frightened, this is one of their homes. And if they DO decide to run down the driveway, that's ok. They won't go very far. One way is the house and a fence, the other is 1/4 mile of driveway with horses alongside. They'd stop!
Right?!
@@lareinedumonde thats not true, it doesn't matter how advanced you are, how trained the horses are. or how well they know the place because horses are animals with feelings and can always get scared and bolt off
@@KoraTheEquestrian You are an animal with feelings... are you likely to bolt off unpredictably? In any case, as I said above, it's OKAY if they bolt off. They will come back.
They trust you and love you. They load themselves ❤🐎🐎
Wherever you are, it's beautiful!
Good job❤
Well behaved mares.
how did you find this song lol
Well, I have always been confused about that too! The instructor is so emphatic, and I am like, “what about the real world outside this little playpen?” 🤣
The horse's are sooooo pretty
❤
Being scared in the dark is the worst. Horses are just giant sexually active little kids.
He a very beautiful horse. He's excited because it's raining or does he not like it. 😊❤
See if he'll hold his stretch for a few seconds by teasing with the carrot. Your goal would be a slow count to 5
Of course he does. But not when I’m doing a video with one hand🤪
Carrots get them every time, good stretching. Kudos
Stiffer bending to the left.
