Actually it is works more faster than here showed up, bcos that time brake fluid was totally fucked up and also brake some piston’s was stuck, when I serviced that and tested against it was totally different and start instantly working..

@@overlandhub1759 you haven't tried QD1 that's why they alot better even though they don't fully lock on the rear they perform way better than the wk1 QD2 t Try it and see for yourself

It is better because in the WJ's the front and rear differentials had visco-lockers in them, the WK's and newer only have the rear locker which is electrically actuated automatically, but the visco-lockers were seemless, and could vary the lockup from 0-100 percent based on traction, where the newer WK's didn't have that capability, it was either locked or unlocked, and there isn't a locker in the front diff of the WK's and newer Grand Cherokees.

@@overlandhub1759 WRONG...the WJ can vary its locking ability from 0 to 100 percent, depending on traction conditions....the WK only has a rear locking differential where the WJ had front and rear lockers....which actually are visco type lockers which are variable and can lock completely or unlock completely compared to an electric or air locker which is either on or off.

Yes you can but without low gear transfer case it won’t be as good as it is, also you will get a hard life to the gearbox

Its just adding the rear locker for quadra-drive....both systems use the same transfer case. If you have the WJ Grand Cherokee however, it had front and rear lockers.

As I remember it was not, but i hVe lock by switch knob I installed qd2 diff on qt2 and have both systems on jeep, its a masterpiece when you have traction and lockers together

It’s a most of cheap way for getting that amazing sound just remove middle resonator and pipe it, thats it it isn’t loud like a hell and have a base still

You can change witch one you want, It’s easy, everything is factory just grab qd2 diff and install activate by switch knob

Save yourself the time and just install a limited slip or locker in the rear axle, you gotta tear into it anyhow to do the quadra-drive diff install, which is nothing more than a locker in the first place.

It’s a both, factory it comes from qt2 and I installed qd2 diffs and activated them by switch

No it doesn’t have a low range gearbox ( quadra track1) it has only abs wheel braking

Quadra-Trac 2 has low range and so does Quadra-Drive....the only difference is, with quadra-drive it utilizes a locking rear differential in the WK and WK2 Grand Cherokees....Quadra-Drive in the WJ Grand Cherokee was much better as it utilized visco-locking front and rear differentials which were fully mechanically operated, no electric/electronic crap to go wrong....the WK Grand Cherokee lost the front locker, and went to the crappy brake trickery that isn't nearly as good as a physical locker or limited slip. Quadra-Trac and Quadra-Drive use the same transfer cases, Quadra-Drive just adds the front and rear lockers in the WJ Grand Cherokee, or just the rear locker in the WK/WK2 Grand Cherokee.
