I agree good film nothing to write home about but what stands out to me Nick Cage crushes it hes a bad ass mo fo in this.

Nic Cage said he doesn’t think playing naturalism is something that he finds interesting. He likes to experiment with his performances. Well, Nic…you really out did yourself with this one.

I have to check it out. I just got this movie today neuter channel. I don’t know it sounds like it’s can’t be as bad as part of of New Orleans. I was really full nick cage on that one.

Watched this in the theater when it came out. Hated it. Wasted a Friday night, I thought. To this day, i have yet to watch it again. I'll take my 50 yr old ass to the library and give it a second chance. See what 30 years has done.

a few days ago i watched snake eyes for the first time (i've seen few scenes before, but never movie). i really enjoyed it. definitely gonna watch it again

I just watched it, and it was pretty bad! 2 out of 5 stars! The pimp was a joke! He just happens to show up at a really nice hotel? That never would of happened in real life! The old actors where great being a tough guy when they were younger, but not after 60!

It could have been a much better movie. It wasn't really a musical - It wasn't really a gangster film. it wasn't all fantasy. It wasn't all real. It didn't know what it was and wasn't sold to the audience as anything specific. it was a flop. And I can understand why. It could have been amazing, instead, it is a film that has been forgotten. I like it and enjoy watching it - But in all honesty there hasn't been once that I haven't been a little bored.

I've found your channel because I was looking for someone who could possibly explain the ending. The movie suggests corruption in the police but I would say that a vault full of diamonds would be too much. The movie is down to Earth, without big explosions, car accidents, fights or similar stuff and so, the vault full of diamonds would require an explanation down to Earth too. This movie definitely escapes the stereotype of an American movie; it is more to an European movie, where you keep your head revisiting the movie for a week until you finally give up without finding any answer. Excellent movie! I'm happy that I've decided to watch it. Thanks a lot for your review.

Love this movie, its like a darker version of Things to do in denver when you are dead.

I liked the ending, you made a good review. It’s the only movie that Cage did well imo aside from The Rock because it plays to his strength of being a very unenthusiastic actor. Next is good for him because since he knows the future he seems bored, just like his character.
