I've been hearing rumors in the gambling/casino community that the IRS is seriously considering raising the limit for a taxable jackpot from the current $1200 to $5000.
I sure hope so! I had 49 W2G's my last trip. Dragon Link was HOT! If they would raise the amount I would have had 3 or 4. The win loss statement shows all of the money, the IRS will still get their share and greatly reduced the paperwork involved in filing. 😏

Helen, don’t change the way you play VP just because a few people complain about you hitting the max bet button. If that is your style stick to it. I play over a hundred thousand hands per year in the casino. Personally, I don’t hit the max bet button every hand, but I play next to lots of players who do and, it has never bothered me. Nice session. 👍 Maybe next time you’ll play some DDB for us. 🌸

@VegasSlotsVP I've been playing video poker since, well since it was invented in the 1970's, and all I play is Triple Double Bonus anymore. Hit 4 aces with a kicker once on one of those Bonus Poker games and said, Never again!

I check my status everyday and know how much to play and leave the rest in the safe. Play only what you can lose in high limit...it can and usually disappears quickly.
