Great example of a lack of knowledge on animals behaviour by the guide. He completed his guiding course but he lacks experience and in that real knowledge. Poor guiding and unprofessionalism by all accounts

Going to sum up the longer comment i read...this elephant is known for flipping cars as he saw his mother get poached as a baby with a similar car. The elephants get annoyed by the whispering and can trigger the attacks, its not the loud voice of the guide thst would annoy him, and the guide knows this. However the guide should have specified no whispering as i think the people thought they were being quier by whispering 😅

He's got some nice ivory. It was said he could be a little pissy but that's why they're called WILD ANIMALS.

The tour guide is a rude A hole.

That's an amazing bull elephant and those tourists would never forget that experience. Elephants are my top favorites but an encounter this close to a large bull elephant might have made me pee in my pants.

Stupid really ignorant comments in this thread! The tourists were talking and not obeying the tour guide. He did everything correctly. I quote Elizabeth Vosloo who wrote below: "...DO WHAT your Guide tells you at ALL TIMES!! Those of you making comments about the guide, he knows exactly what he’s doing. The sounds made by the tourists agitate the elephant or stoke its curiosity making it linger on. His shouting actually makes the animal back away.

I have been on guided tours in Alaska and Yellowstone. Bears in both places, Bull Elk in both places. The guides react the same as this guide did.
