Member of the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey
AAI was founded on November 14, 1949 by a handful of dedicated amateur astronomers. We continue to promote an interest in the science of astronomy through our many activities and programs. These include courses, lectures, and college scholarships. With over 200 members, AAI is one of the largest astronomy clubs in the United States.

What is the US Space Force (USSF)?
Second Lieutenant Veronica Vergar, who presented on the Space Force, emphasizing its role in defending national interests and ensuring the security of critical systems. The Air Force's role in creating the GPS system and the Space Force's responsibility for its maintenance and protection were discussed, along with the Space Force's collaboration with other branches of the military and its use of commercial partners for space launches. The structure of the Space Force, the different roles within it, and the potential for future involvement in asteroid defense were also discussed.

Thanks for this video. I’m hoping to see more like this. As I improve,I’ll probably add some more. So questions… do you use the guide module with Alpy and if so what software do you use for guiding on the slit? I know phd2 recently added a slit capability,and I just started using Astro art as it has a dedicated process for slit guiding. Just curious. Thanks john
Great overview of Bruneau Dunes State Park and the Observatories. Boise Astronomical Society members are extremely happy with the newest addition to the observatory. Thank you for showing the rest of the folks in your club a little bit of Southwest Idaho.

Hi Stephan! I love your video and you have beautiful spectra. Can you tell me what camera you are using to capture your spectra. I am trying to capture more of the blue end, however; my camera drops out at 4023A (6 sec exp of Vega at F11 on C14). In addition, with 600 l/mm I am only getting a spectrum width of 1200 angstroms wide while it seems your are getting the full. Cheers
