From Maine to Michigan. We traveled across country to participate in the AkC large pack nationals. And what a trip it was.

Another great season in the books. 2023/2024 was a great one. With the weather being out of control this year, we trudged through it all. Deep snow. Crust. Crazy winds. Bare ground middle of the winter. It all had its challenges. But thank each and everyone one of you for coming up and spending some time in the Maine woods with me and my pack of dogs.

Running in northern Maine on 18 inches of fresh heavy snow. Crusted over in spots. To hard crusty ice in central Maine. Some of the worst Maine has to offer.

We ran a lot of young dogs this summer hoping to have them all ready for 2023/2024 hunting season here in Maine. Here’s a few clips throughout the spring and summer.

We had a great season with 261 hare taken with dogs. 2020/2021 season highlights. Can’t wait to see what next season has to offer.

Conditions have been tough this season. Had to swap out dogs to get a decent run in but managed to put some miles on the hounds in less than ideal weather here in maine.

Molly makes a hard 90 look easy. She’s becoming a nice hound for sure.

I put a short video together on how I use the purple python cattle tags to prevent ticks on my beagles. Haven't seen a tick on my dogs in 6 years since I started using them!!
