GingRICH equates Democrats with Terrorists

As reported on CNN, 9/18/10, Gingrich equates Democrats with Terrorists. The America GinRICH believes in is the top percent of income. He also prefers a one party system as long as it's the Republicans. Will swing voters back track to trickle down economics that got us in the mess we are in?

❤
Sounds like a person in peace intelligent and in love with nature
this is the holy grail of blues
Os anjos estão em festa.
Henry Vestine was not a great talent. His primitive style was well suited when he was conforming himself to traditional, clean sounding Blues guitar. When he became enamored with the fuzztone during the Boogie era, his lack of expansive technique was too much. Al Wilson was a traditionalist who never overstepped. In fact, he may have left too much of his great feel for the Blues at the door.
Very intelligent. Love this audio. Sounds like he’s right in front of you
This needs to be released everywhere, it’s so relevant and comforting!
We lost so many talented singers and musicians . We were deprived of their talent.
Alan wilson in harmonica or guitar?
Alan Wilson was a genius whose talents are still not fully appreciated.
Awesome 👌 👏 👍
Alan sounds just like john Coltrane... Blowing just an harp! Absolutly crazy!
fito kept that shii tight
As a lifelong guitar player and history buff, I really dig and appreciate this rare gem. I've been a canned heat fan since I was 12 years old and, haven't heard any interviews from anyone in canned heat. It's a shame we didn't get the whole thing.
There should be a Redwood grove named after Alan Wilson.

A sad loss to the music world I loved Canned Heat
Interesting to hear him outside of performance great knowledge of his craft.
Super interesting to hear the speculation that Ed Bell may or may not be Barefoot Bill, in 2014 it was finally confirmed they were the same person.
Never would have thought he would sound like this speaking. A deep commanding voice, expected a more reserved timbre
He was so awkward and never fit into that 1960's rock star lifestyle. He was way too smart and introverted for everyone else.
"What Henry wants to do in inclination, is growing further away from what I want to do..." interesting this interview is from 1968. Henry Vestine would leave Canned Heat just weeks before Woodstock (August '69) and the band almost broke up as a result of his departure. From what Alan says, it sounds like they both appreciated how the other would play, it's just where Henry wanted to take his playing required more volume. Alan appreciated that, in principle, but due to sensitivity of his ears, most likely didn't want to be part of it in a live situation (he mentions walking out of Cream show because of the volume in this chat as well)... This interview has some foreshadowing of the tension within the band at the time. Alan was 100%dedicated to the blues and, while he definitely thought that the higher end, higher volume playing was still the blues, it just wasn't his style and Canned Heat was his and Bob's band. When their styles clashed, Alan wasn't going to be the one leaving and THANK GOD they didn't break up... their set at Woodstock was AMAZING! Having personally experienced a drummer and a lead guitarist who always wanted to turn it up and play loud, I'd say it's always important to be a "pocket player"when in a band. Situations where styles can clash like this can definitely cause problems in a band and can very often lead to dissolution. So interesting to hear these words from this genius knowing what has happened since... taken from us too soon.
! Canned Heat Forever !
Good morning Vietnam!!!
Strung out on barbiturates here sad to see
I was in Kindergarden back in 68. And in Germany. And without knowing Canned Heat. I have no relation to that era of Rock. But when I got older, I get some Information about it. But still can't feel it. His fate touches me in some way, but it is like another Planet, wich I will never know or understand. Too far away. May he rest in peace
Thank you very much. This was the first time for me to hear his speaking voice. Sounds like a cool guy.
Alan wasn't so socially awkward, as many have said. Very articulate, at least when discussing music.
I always heard he had some insecurities , but he was great , maybe if only more people had told him that ... also the same with the Seekers'' Judith Durham , she didn't think much of herself , depression or something , but she was beautiful .. miss them both ... but lucky to have enjoyed their presence ..
He loved to sleep outside in nature, 50 yards up the hill from whatever house he was staying at the time
❤🎶🌚🎶🦉
Some bios claim Wilson killed himself, in an OD. But actually, he did not even do drugs. He had a bad case of insomnia, and regularly took legal sleeping pills to manage this life long condition . When he died, he was found with a bottle of mostly unused sleeping pills. His death was officially ruled accidental. Sleeping pills build up in your system over time, if you use them regularly. And quite often this happens, you simply don’t wake up because you have much more of the drug in your system than you realized. This is what happened to the Beatles’ Brian Epstein as well. Another insomniac, it was the build up in his system over time, from regular use, that killed him.
what harmonica is he using
✌❤✌❤✌❤✌❤✌
Certainly deserved his master's degree 😢
This line up was the shit! Rod Hicks bass, Buzzy gtr, Ted Harris keys, Phillip Wilson dms, Dinwiddie tenor, Sanborn alto, Trevor Lawrence bari, Keith Johnson and Steve Madeo tpt.
Blind Owl's performance on Refried Boogie on the Livin The Blues album is enormous. That chunky intro and his guitar solo relaxes me.
Should have got 2 guitars to have separate tunings 😂❤
To avoid tuning on stage of course 😊
Have any of these demos been released, they should be available to buy ❤ Al is amazing
This was about his girlfriend he met in Hawaii
This is so cool
Besides Wilson’s technical knowledge of The Blues and music in general, he sang with the feeling required to be a blues singer. He was a gentle soul. I saw Canned Heat many times at The Boston Tea Party.
Wilson blossomed into the dedicated musician/historian because The Blues grabbed him by his soul. He found his purpose and it lit him up. I admire him greatly.
Fascinating artist.
His voice is a LOT deeper than I thought it would be.
Nice interview thank you.
Pure magic. Alan was taken from us way too soon. It doesn't get any better than this unbelievable piece of music. Alan is so very much loved and missed. Total bliss every time I hear him play.
tremendous
Marina Bolkeman recorded footage of this performance… MUST be digitized before its too late!!😊
I couldn't find my comment to edit but for anyone interested this song appears on The Blind Owl by Alan Wilson. R.I.P. Alan!
If you mean the 2-cd set issued by Severn records in 2013, it does not appear there. Do you know of anything not on Discogs etc?
