Really enjoyed it, these races with all cats are really tough! There is always an element of racers who are on the limit of each cat really pushing you.

Hey Travis, I did my first crit race back a couple of months a go. Bike is really good. Solid in the corners and nimble too. The direct mount brakes work really well - elite wheels 50mm rim work well with the bike. The evo is a different looking beast, but I am very happy with my falath pro

@@andreytsoy44 no problem, I've got to say they are a really good at of wheels too! They do 25mm / 27mm / 29mm rims depending on your tyre choice. I went for the 25mm x 50mm deep, as I run 25c tyres. But I will be trying 28c this summer

In a word Ben, Yes! it would look awesome in just the 3D magic. the chameleon paint really is an amazing finish

@@59ncycling Thanks! I’m trying to decide between a) 100% 3D Magic b) 3D Magic with silver highlights (stays, head tube bottom of forks) or c) White with 3D Magic as the accent colour in 3 places. It’s hard to envisage how it would look. I would value your opinion between those 3 choices ;)

@@benfinesilver2250 I think would stay away from contrasting colours personally. I went matt grey and 3d. The black goes well with 3d as well. Seen a few of them. But in the end going bold and full 3d would look cool

Nice one Pete, got any pictures? What are you thinking about the 105 kit. Expensive but the bees knees I'm sure

i.imgur.com/zd8nnWP.jpg minus bar tape and chain. It's probably my favourite thing about the bike, but then I am coming from ~2015 105 which was used until the shifters literally broke. Didn't hurt the bank so much as all the expensive parts on the bike have been gathered over the years using the cycle2work scheme.

is that the lichen paint? looks very nice. are you happy with the sizing? i was a little worried. i came from a small ribble to a medium falath. it seems a perfect fit thankfully.

@@59ncycling Yeah I like it. My previous bike was a 56, so I got a 56 frame also (2XL in asian terms). If anything it feels a little smaller but that's probably due to the compact bar. I do get some toe overlap with the front wheel which I didn't have before though.

@@59ncycling An update on my build: I recieved an email yesterday saying they had supplied me with the wrong C-ring adapter (the little part that goes on top of the top headtube bearing), this can cause the cap to rub on the frame and chip the paint. Indeed my paint was chipping slightly so I sent them a pic or 2. Today they've told me they are sending me a new c-ring and also a replacement frame... Very good customer service

I ordered the bike at the end of January. Custom paint was finalised within 2 weeks - I changed my mind a couple of times, which they don't mind at all!. Then I waited over Chinese New year. Delivery time was 6 weeks but would have been quicker if holidays weren't involved

Jonathan, they are still running true and as good as the day i got them, running them tubeless aswell. worth every penny! I did read up somewhere that the quality is actually better than hunt.

I went WAY too early haha. i was expecting more punch from the front, not just be on my own. in the first race i just need a couple more riders for the flat section to maintain more speed. got to drop 5 or 6kg over the winter - that will help too!

Yeah, i got the fear when the boy took a big gap and nobody moved! i don't usually burn out that fast either!! oh and sorry for the green box, chroma key was off in OBS . won't happen again lol.

having ridden on the wheels all summer, i can safely say they have out performed me! great wheels.
