it is to do with supply and demand. the prices are high and people are voting by not coming to such expensive places a lot of beachside restaurants have not opened in Anjuna beach this season for example, because of high cost and low count of foreign tourist something has to change for the next season by the government and local business

more and more hotels and shops business are run by outsiders from the North not originally from Goa who have used Goa's populaity to make a quick buck

They are not local Goan people travelling in overcrowded buses but local tourist from nearby Maharashtra state and Karnataka state

@@karthi3999 these are local buses and they probably run from Mapusa to Arambol by 6pm. I will be surprised if they ran any later The bus journey takes 40 to 50 minutes I hope this answers your questions

It is the rainy season, It has been raining continously since yesterday, However may be less rain next week . Bring your umbrella and raincoat and carry on enjoying the weather, around the hotel, visit restaurants for a hot cup of tea and bhajias , visit churches and waterfalls unfortunately no watersports activities now until October More activities aroung Baga, Calangute , Candolim and Colva beach It is the rainy season, It has been raining continously since yesterday, However may be less rain next week .
