Because MGM owns the “Mirage” name and they operate resorts south of Caesars Palace

The Bellagio was much nicer before they built that monstrosity, the Cosmopolitan, right next to it. It takes away from its majesticness. And makes you feel almost claustrophobic having that giant building so close to it.

I was there on 7/27/22 and when this played it was also cloudy and when uptown funk performed it was extremely windy

The Fountains at the Bellagio should be a must see on everyone's list. I saw this song back at the Bellagio Fountains in 2018 and it still gives me the chills. Absolutely amazing.

This pyrotechnic spectacle has been running at the tropical themed desert gaming oasis known as The Mirage for 33 years. The property sits immediately to the North of Caesar's Palace. The fact that Hard Rock bought it and wants to rebrand it with a giant guitar belies that they neither appreciate nor understand Steve Wynn's vision for this property. The Mirage and its volcano doesn't deserve to be relegated to the history books. It's a spectacular themed resort, and the volcano is it's trademark street show that mesmerizes passersby on a nightly basis. If Hard Rock wants to build a giant guitar, they should purchase and develop another part of the ever growing Las Vegas strip. Shame on MGM for selling it in the first place. If the volcano goes dark, it will be a dark day in the city of lights. Let's keep the volcano burning bright! Hard Rock should understand the value of the investment they have made without needing to rebrand the resort with their own vision when the vision already in place is a true gem, and a treasured spectacle that continues to draw attention and garner appeal for the property. Las Vegas should be big enough that if Hard Rock needs to build a giant guitar, they should be able to do so elsewhere and leave our treasured volcano at the The Mirage Resort.

When I was in Vegas a few weeks ago I saw the fountain malfunction. It stated playing the national anthem but without the fountain. I have a video of it on my TH-cam channel.
