I am saying this with a lot of responsibility Samsung higher end tv panels are not reliable. When more than 2 pixels are dead it shorts the entire led panel. You can do the tape solution but it doesn't give the same level of quality after that. Panel Replacement is a huge cost and not worth it. Better go with Sony as they are robust and long lasting. My samsung QLED lasted 5 years and had the same problem. I did a lot of research and found that many people have faced the same issue with the QLED panel by samsung.

Hi! I purchased the same model in Oct23 and noticed the same issue few days ago within the warranty period. After lot of heated mail exchanges with Sony, finally they have agreed to replace the panel. I am still waiting for getting the TV back from service center after panel replacement. Am thinking of putting a dust cover after getting the new panel just as a precautionary measure. This seems to be a very common issue with this model of Sony.

Hi! I had purchased Sony x85J and i was facing the same black spot issue. Had to send it to Sony Service Center twice within a span of 6 months. The issue is coming because of dust accumulation within the TV as the new TV launched from Sony is Bezel less. Earlier TVs used to have Bezel which used to prevent dust accumulation. The possible solution is to get the dust cleaned from Sony Service center. Clean the TV from outside every week and if possible cover the TV with a cotton cloth. In summary avoid Sony TV for now.

I never owned Sony so no comment in the service part but i had a samsung the frame 55 inch, 2021 model. after 2.5 years panel got totaly blacked out, service engineer said new panel needs to be replaced but after one month they said part is not available in india so samaung will deduct 11.11% per year from the invoiced amount and refund the rest. I bought it at 79k in 2021 and theg refunded 53k back. Now, pls suggest shall i go for sony x90l or samsung qn85d or qn90d? As per my experience, im satisfied with samaung service, i dnt know what would happen if i got the same issue with sony tv. Hi bro, pls suggest.
