This is something everyone should hear I became aware of A Christmas Carol 🎄 as a young boy and have heard and seen many versions but listen carefully and you will see what is happening now "the homeless and poor people trying to get threw and others because of being racist and sexist feeling like only there kind should be seen and heard . Reflecting on the past present and future 😮 but in this world we are dealing with things very similar now . Goddess bless us everyone even the Maga people bless their blackened gingerbread hearts. 🫠😲😱

Listening to this because I'm a fan of Charles Dickens work and I'm getting in the mood for Christmas lol

A fabulous narrator! Wish I knew his name.

Pretty good, but "of all the good YEARS in the year" just bugs me. Seems every version will always have one or two screw-ups.

i love how the most famous christmas story of all time is a horror story about a mean crotchety old man getting scared into not being an assshole by forces from beyond the grave.

The adverts ruin this wonderful reading which is the best I have ever heard. Librivox readings do not usually carry adverts. Shame on the poster for allowing them. Sadly, I can't find this version anywhere else.

One of the best narrations I’ve ever heard. Jim Dale, Patrick Stewart, and Tim Curry were commendable, but this narration is my personal favorite.

Adverts every five minutes… how tiresome

It’s amazing. However, I do get a distinct “high schooler trying to hit their essay limit” about it. Over a hundred words for “this guy is dead and that’s important” 😂

On 19th December 2020 I watched 'The Man Who Invented Christmas' the fictionalised story of the background to this wonderful story. 157 years to the day this book was published in 1843. Just thought I mention this 😊

I've listened to the particular story for the last 4 years. However, this time it is absolutely ruined by ads every minutes!
