Twitchy Split second decisions are NOT souls like bosses; soulslike combat is more of a dance than just "lol react". You learn the pattern, you adapt to the pattern and then you win. By your definition of "quick responses and overtuned bosses" Ninja Gaiden is a souls-like then ig. So all souls-like games are now Gaiden-Like games; by your definition.🤷 Overtuned bosses have been a staple of Action RPGS for years, just because in Souls-Like games you fight hard bosses doesnt mean every game with a hard boss = soulslike. Also, twitchy split-second reactions are very present in GoW on the hardest difficulty. As stated in the video if any of your reasons as to "Why its a souls like" is also applicable to GoW You instantly lose the argument. Thank you for playing

Not even close, dude. You have two extremely different philosophies in Wukong and Souls. Wukong has enemy placement of Souls, and that's basically about it. Your skills/abilities are on a cooldown timer as opposed to resource management, you're incentivized to actually mash and go through shit. You're never trying to find an opening in the same way you do in Souls, and if you do, you're playing Wukong wrong. The game LITERALLY tells you about its armor mechanic and just busting THROUGH shit in its fucking skill tree, dude. Your PARRY is on a cooldown timer, you don't just have it whenever. You can still attack and dodge without stamina. You people have brainrot to categorize everything as "Souls-like" when that doesn't even encompass what Souls actually is. Also, Wukong doesn't need "Twitchy, split-second responses" to kill "overtuned bosses". The bosses aren't even overtuned, dude lol

Actually, it was confirmed by the author that Shinobu is the only Hashira that Giyuu is close friends with, and she doesn’t bully him, it’s teasing. And in the tomioka gaiden it shows that he only usually smiles around her.

With a real development team and a loving community, this game could have been very fucking good.

A very mature game way of looking at it. But this isn't subpar, its horrendous. But, that as well, horrendous games can be made fun. "Its fun with friends!" Then its not a good game, simple.

You don't though, because it does no damage. The only thing that does the damage is the special moves you factor in, melee is nothing. The only people who do damage with "melee" is Yuta in his buffed form and Todo when he's got his cursed output at max or whatever the fuck. You hit a nasty combo that does. The damage that the basic XXX Would do. Unless you're chaining multiple supers back to back, which then OK. Sure, you're chaining... Supers. The game literally states that melee hits will not deal damage. Only Cursed Techniques. The Story Mode was the Anime, no point to playing it. Online is NOT working. I played a game today for fun on stream, it was slow motion and laggy. You can enjoy the game, and thats perfectly okay. But lets not cap lmao, barely worth a 25 pound price tag let alone 50 whole smackaroos.

I feel your frustration brother but this is an extremely unfair comparison. Sparking Blast was in development for a good long while compared to this game, and sparking blast is built on a legacy of other games beforehand. The company that made this game has only really made the two My Hero Games (Which are more fun and look better than this game btw, but don't let Dommamo or whoever the fuck in my comment section calling me a child is called decieve you.) So their experience is limited. This is also the first ever JJK Game and you can tell in certain areas, VERY RARELY that they tried to capture the essence of the anime. But this game was a cash grab, no doubt about it and it's probably not even the developers fault, probably the publishers trying to cash grab after the Shibuya Arc's hype.

Fun for a couple hours, but at the end of the day didnt break my bank. But no, this game cost 50-60 and is genuinely a piece of dogshit. I would have rather bought 10 Quarter Pounder Meals, made large ( About 5.89 )and eaten them in one sitting, dry with no drink than buy and play this game. I appreciate the words, and while you can have your opinion. From a technical standpoint. 1) Not stable FPS On PS5. Playstation 5. The console that can run much better graphical games at 120fps at higher resolutions (2k and 4k) 2) each character share the EXACT SAME DIALOGUE, even the characters that are timid/shy. (Adrenaline PUMPING. BLOOD BOILING. IS YOUR BLOOD BOILING CARL!?) 3) I killed Carl off in whichever chapter; blud showed up at the end of the game as an aged up ghost. 4) Combat is piss easy 5) What the fuck is the "frenzy" mechanic 6) Puffs of smoke =... invisibility? 7) The character models 8) Shane. Just; Shane. Doesnt matter who you pick, outcome the same anyways just with Shane's model instead of Rick's. 9) Boss fights are just... wildly smacking the enemy until he dies (Absurd amount of health) 10) 0 Personality in the cast of characters; which imo make TWD Series amazing, the way Rick and Shane have conflicting opinions, the energy they give each other and the choices made in the show between season 1-2(3-4 Rick) are what make the series amazing. This is just bland as fuck. 11) Voice acting. No, this game is dogshit and any game "Worse than it" is... even worse. The only fun I had was taking the piss out of it, if that makes the game redeemable then Kong is also a "aint bad game" BUT like I said if you had fun on it I aint gonna shit on you; bad games can be good. This is just... A bad game.

The Graphics definitely look better; however unfortunately the PC versions stutters and crashes thus negating the better graphics 😭
