The ancestor of Via Nirone 7. I've buy it as new 20 years ago and i still have it with me today, I still do long rides with it, I find it comfortable even if not very light, an excellent frame.

I have ridden a frame like that. And it is actually very pleasent. Cromor i fine. I am 192 tall and weigh 94 kg. So I should not ride a lighter steel frame than this Anyway. Notice it is fully chromed!

Hi, do you know what is the largest mm size tyre this frame will take? Look officially say 23c, but I've seen it comfortably take that, and with the moving dropouts I was hoping 28c might be possible potentially

I had this same frame up until 2 years ago. It was a piece of junk. The glue joint on the chainstay failed near the bottom bracket. The aluminum cable guide on the toptube was turning to powder. I contacted a professional repair company and was told they would not fix it and that these types of failures are common with Italian bikes from Colnago and Pinarello. I certainly will never buy another Italian bike. For the kind of money they ask for their shit I would expect a bike frame to last a lot longer.

I just got a pair of these as tubular’s…I serviced them and replaced the rear freehub which surprisingly takes 5 bearings, including the two in the freehub. They take some moving, but once going they hold speed quite well. I rate them as a set of trainers, even though they weight in at around the 1230g mark.
