Good morning. Seeing your video first up on my Saturday morning feed. Lovely wool sweater that you knitted.

That's the way I knit too. I tried with my finger up when I was first learning, but I'd get cramps. It's SO much easier to purl this way too. It took some practice, but I finally got it. Now a lot of times when I'm done purling a row, or doing a knit, purl ribbing, I have an instant of panic thinking I must have accidentally knit the row because it was so easy. lol

I don't have a dishwasher so my hands are very dry. This makes it impossible for me to hold onto no-grip metal needles. Just starting a sock with Karbonz needles and love them! Has the grip like wooden needles, and the metal tips are wonderful. Both provide me with the most comfortable knitting I've ever experienced.

WHOA!!! that is AH MAZING!!! EASY looking and I REALLY don't need any shoulder work going on!! 3 rotator cuff surgeries say OH< HECK NOOO ! LOVE THIS METHOD. PS is the continental method the long tail method ? If so How long do you make those tails. I've seen SOME tutorials where they just say LEAVE A LONG TAIL. OMGOSH

Where's your 'super efficient' purl stitch.... what you are showing is what most continental knitters who know what they are doing, actually do... but the purl is problematic in continental... I would say even more than in English style... unless you purl in the russian style, which you then have to worry about the mount on the knit stitches... or do the extra steps to do Norwegian purls.. it all seems to such. If you want ACTUAL and efficient knitting and even more super efficient purling (because it is), you should learn Portuguese aka Greek or Turkish knitting/purling. MUCH more efficient. Thx for trying... and for the video!!

how does this work when you need to Knit as in ribbing , seen people do purling using their forefinger like you and some like Norman who are really fast use middle finger to wrap and saves time because he leaves out step of pushing left needle with his right forefinger to advance

This is the first tutorial I've found that didn't start in the middle of a row. And it immediately helped, i actually knitted a whole row successfully!

I feel like I'm not going to make it in time on my quilt. My motivation is burning out and I'm tired. I'm having to keep up with the house and my high energy high functioning kid. It can be overwhelming to my add ADHD even at the best of times.

I've never thought to sand needles down. I like them sharp. Any suggestions for fixing boye needles with the patina pain on the. Mine are all chipped up from when I was first learning. The patina help it flow better.

You forgot to show purl technique, that’s the problem stitch!

Slip the first stitch knit wise n purl the last stitch each row n it will give you the most beautiful edging for your headbands. I love them n they wear really great. Take care.

I have rsi in my arms hands. I draw too and do a lot of different things that require my hands and firearms.

I've been trying to catch up on laundry. I have to hang dry everything in our small apartment bc I can't afford to go to the laundry mat or buy a new dryer. I've watched a fridge die, a washer die, and now my dryer die all right post pandemic. Not the best time for struggling. Lol 😂 so it literally takes days sometimes a week to do laundry and I'm making people wear their clothes longer and multiple times so I'm not constantly doing laundry. Really hard with an autistic child that has potty issues. But yeah it's hard playing where can I hang this from. 😅 I'm being on tying a quilt but I can't let the house go because it messes with my executive dysfunction even more. We have a week and I have to do around 300-400 ties estimating. Each section runs me about 96 but I have edges that don't quite fit my dritz rack. Using red heart yarn to tie it. Denim and flannel heavy not easy to quilt on standard machine so it's easier to hand tie it. But it'll be warm. I worry though that gifting a blanket might be in bad taste since my brothers wife is indigenous - Navajo. I hope not. Especially since I got curious and looked up their sacred colors after the fact and found out I'm using tons of their sacred colors by coincidence. Sewing/crafting is my love language and I love her so much. I'm glad she's family. ❤

What has helped my adhd tremendously is cbt and no medication. Believe ot or not I was watching Storks with my son and implemented a manta for chores and cleaning. They wou chant 5 more minutes and then we're done. I chant one more thing and then I'm done and trick my brain into multiple mini tasks and not really do one more thing. But tons of little things. Like I see a sock and go one more thing and then im done place it in the basket, see I've not put a dish away and chant again and take that to the sink. Etc... it has cut down on my work load breaking things up and doing the little maintenance things instead of waiting until I have three days of dishes. Lol I heard that in cbt on the disability spectrum they break even small tasks further down it jelp with executive function and dopamine reward centers. I think thats why that works for me.

I like this type of charity bc it doesn't have a chance to be mismanaged. I've decided I dislike organized charity. It's better for us to serve our communities in person. ❤
