Unpacking my Racebred Front Splitter Kit on my $120k S2000.
Got my Racebred components front splitter kit recently and since I am partially through installing the Spoon Widebody before it goes in for engine upgrades body work and forced induction I’m doing rust treatment and figuring I’d do a walkthrough of the install this far.

My review, thoughts, and tips on setting up the ID4 Gauge cluster in my Honda S2000 Fujin. These can be found a customdigitalgauges.com/ and are definitely worth it. Pretty cool. “The audio used in this video is purely a copyright material”

    Good day sir! I got the same cluster and it works now like yours since I havent connected the other connector yet either. At first the rpms showed 1000rpm too much but figured it out also how to make it closer to real ones. It does flash this and that now and then (Orange streering wheel indicator and hi beam even though I dont have em on) but other than that it looks great and works great. Did you already connected the CAN plug? Did it correct the temperatures etc? Manual says GREEN AND YELLOW (High and low can bus) but for me it looks like GREEN and BROWN? And as I watched your video it looked light brown in your video too. Thanks for great video and great tips with the cluster!

    How do you get the A/C vent selector plate out for the first time? Mines pretty stuck in there.

    I have this cluster installed in my AP1 for few months. I have the EPS light on when driving on the highway (±100km/h) for few minutes. Turning off my EPS. When I go back below 60km/h, RPS light turn off and everything go back normal. I put back my oem cluster and the problem disapear. Is it the same for you? I cant fix this and id4motion support ignore me with this problem (they always helped for other problems)

    Great review man ! Not gonna lie that’s a bad ass cluster! It’s so customizable I think that’s the sickest part of it! A bit on the pricey side but I think it’s worth it 👍🏼 🎄

    Is it possible to get rid of "dim spots" in the cluster? I recently changed the oem cluster gauge to different colours now theres a green tinge thats reflecting off the circuit board

    Is it possible to disable/turn off certain icons on the display? I ask this because I have removed the air bags and the SRS module off my 2000 S2K to lighten it up, now the SRS light is on and I plan to remove the bulb from the cluster, but if I upgraded to the ID4 cluster, I would like to disable the airbag icon there.

    If led bulbs are causing bright spots an easy solution is to just use black marker on the led that points directly on a light diffuser...

  • @TW-ql7pp
    @TW-ql7pp 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    is there a way to test the lights without putting everything back together? LEDs only go one way so it would suck if you have to put back on the steering wheel to test only to realize the LED you put in doesn't work...

    • @ap1.2
      @ap1.2 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, you can. The wire harnass behind the dash is long enough to pull out a bit. That way you can connect the control panel, switch on the ignition and light switch. After that you'll see whether they're the right way around. :)

    • @NathanSShapiro

      Exactly what Vincent said. Just plug and test. Its a bit cumbersome but not too bad.

    Thanks for the video, would be nice to see a bit more from the hardware install. Like how well does everything fit behind the dash, including that conversion box that took forever for them to produce. Also please ditch the background music and use your phone in horizontal mode in the future :)
