Indescribable: From the Highest of Heights | Free Sheet Music | Worship Piano Cover - Arr. Bundesen
This is a lovely improvised rendition of the Laura Story song made famous by Chris Tomlin, Indescribable (From the Highest of Heights). I originally conceptualised this improvisation to unfold like a hike through the forest which opens up into a majestic view of a rugged mountain range which disappears as the sun sets.
Here is a link to the sheet music: drive.google.com/file/d/1Icg8xrodCr7wItm5ME6rARLJhIGVdTts/view?usp=drivesdk
Please note that the sheet music has been revised and may not be exactly accurate to the recording.
Lyrics:
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creations revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming
Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky
And You know them by name
You are amazing, God
All powerful, untameable
Awestruck, we fall to our knees
As we humbly proclaim
You are amazing, God
Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go?
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light?
Yet, conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom
Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky
And You know them by name
You are amazing, God
All powerful, untameable
Awestruck, we fall to our knees
As we humbly proclaim
You are amazing, God

Building a Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ | Midifying a Pedal Board, Modifying a Keyboard | The Story
มุมมอง 7K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
This project took around 6 weeks to complete and included midifying the pedalboard using an arduino chip, modifying a keyboard to better suit the setup, building the table and setting up the computer to draw each element together into a working organ. So what is a Hauptwerk organ? It is essentially the homogenisation of multiple MIDI devices (MIDI being a method to transmit and receive musical ...
“Restoring” an Old R. F. Stevens Folding Reed Organ Circa 1929-1951
มุมมอง 682ปีที่แล้ว
After almost a year of doing bits and pieces on this project, I am glad to share a video of my adventures into “restoring” an old folding reed organ manufactured by the now defunct company R. F. Stevens. I have learnt so much over the time that I have been delving into this instrument and I want to disclaim that I use the word “restore” with some caution, as I know that some of the processes th...

Enjoyed your journey. Made something similar. Just more organ-like (case). Just to give you something to do on your next project: th-cam.com/video/CKDNg8jbZKs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nbL14cBDwZQe4pZJ. Clip about making the pull-stops will be online shortly

Fantastic! This is one of the more relatable DIY solutions on TH-cam that I could actually draw inspiration from. Other videos that document spending tens of thousands on a custom solid wood midi monstrosity from an organ builder don't help regular old me.

I wanted a practice organ also. I found an unwanted AGO pedalboard from a local church. I installed a midi harness that I purchased from Midiworks in Markham, Ontario. I have an old Roland SoundCanvas that has 2 midi in ports. So I was able to connect the pedalboard & my old Roland D-10 synthesizer to the SoundCanvas which is connected to my Roland Micro Cube amplifier. For a bench, I use a Gorilla foldable ladder from Home Depot.

Nice work there! I am doing same project to build hauptwerk organ. Would it be possible to get Arduino code for pedal board?

Hi Kwon. The code that I received is specific for the setup that I have. If you would like to get the code, I would recommend contacting Rick Whatson. He has a website which discusses Hauptwerk organs. Thanks, Carl

Brilliant video. I completed a similar project reed switches and all. Ref adjusting pedal spring tension. An organ console builder gave me a brilliant tip when I mentioned some if my most used pedal springs were too weak. Adjust so a bottle of wine just depresses the pedal. Also, too late for you but for others that may be interested. I use Grandorgue basic sampleset. It is free and doesn't need an internet connection to work. I find it perfectly satisfactory for practise. Keep up the good work. One day I might be brave enough to post a video of me playing my home setup.

Good video, thank you! How did you merge the midi messages together from the keyboard and the pedal board?

    • @cbtesla-gaming4978
      @cbtesla-gaming4978 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

No need to merge the messages. They appear as seperate MIDI devices in Hauptwerk and then you can specify which device corresponds to which manual on the virtual organ.

@@cbtesla-gaming4978 Thanks, that's a neat solution. I didn't realise that Hauptwerk can do that. So I shan't have to buy a midi merger after all!

This is very cool! I rebuilt a portable harmonium a couple of years ago; it looks very similar to your reed organ, but being a harmonium it works on pressure rather than suction so the workings are completely different. It's about due a re-rebuild, as I now know a lot more about these machines and how they are built/repaired than I did back then. There are a couple of videos of it on my channel, and it's one of my favourite instruments!

You did a lot of detailed and thorough work on this organ and it looks beautiful. Do you plan to restore the bellows so that the tone is more steady and it does not require so much rapid foot pumping to achieve a more powerful and steady sound. Also, I'm quite surprised to see an organ of this size with 3 sets of reeds. How are the other two sets engaged when playing the organ?. I have a somewhat similar folding reed organ made by the Estey Company. It also has 4 octaves but only two sets of reeds. One of the knee levers acts as a swell and the other opens the back set of reeds to provide additional volume. I found the organ in the church where I was the (pipe) organist and it was/is in remarkable condition. Please keep us informed if you do any more work on this beauty.
