dear friend. we are a stainless steel factory for new design shower door frame and hardware. let's cooperation is win win. thank you。😄
Very nice,We are ZJ Brand Stainless Steel shower room frame and accessories manufacturer for 14 years professional, hope we can cooperate on this,win-win.
Well done! You've done a lot to idiot-proof installation except for this idiot. The sliding door actually installs well either direction, you just have to switch some of the hardware around. One of the problems I had was not knowing where to put the final metal rod. I ended up putting right under the sliding glass door. There is still a gap between it and the door so I expect I'll have to do something to keep water from leaking. Also, 75" is above my tile so I installed the rod into the drywall. This created a 1/4" difference on stationary side making installing that glass wall difficult. Fortunately, there is enough leeway in the design to compensate. I was able to mount the brackets close enough to the walls and, by removing the rubber inserts, get them to fit. Probably a bad solution that will put pressure on the glass in the long run. If you make the same mistake I did, I recommend you cut the rod an additional 1/4". The holding screws should still hold the rod and holes in the glass should line up better than they did for me. I ended up with a large gap between the stationary glass wall and the threshold. I tried to fill it in with silicon but am not sure it's completely sealed. I plan on applying more silicon if it's not. The instructions for assembling the door handle are confusing. Only the plastic spacers are discarded. If you discard the plastic and metal washers too (like I did), you won't be able to attach the second handle. Put a metal washer next to the holder (the bulb-looking thing) with a plastic washer next to it, slide it through the hole in the glass with another plastic washer next to the glass and then another metal washer. Screw the assembly into the the first handle. The bulb should then stick out of the hole far enough to install the second side of the handle. Do this for both the top and the bottom sides. Then, attach the second handle and tighten it to the bulbs. Finally, these instructions don't explain what to do with the Aluminum Floor Strip Cap. The paper instruction say to silicon it over the rough and of the Aluminum Floor Strip and as close to the shower wall as possible.
Whoever developed this video deserves an award. Very well done.
IS this reversible? other side?
You need a left-side video, and you should indicate in your description that you don't recommend the sliding door be installed opposite the shower head, so I could have made that decision before making a purchase, all it says is that I can install it either way and now I am stuck with a door that has to be installed backward and it just doesn't look right.
Add sound to your videos
Ok at 3:21 is where home owners will be breaking this piece of glass if you have a thresh hold that is hard tile or granite. When I install panels I use bigger 1/4 spacers lots, get the panel in place and then come in with in this case 1/8 spacers right at the corners of the glass. The corner of the glass is its weakest spot if you tap the tile or ultra hard surface it will bust the glass into a million pieces. So extreme care is needed.....your welcome Glass Warehouse
At 8:18 I would put the corner protectors on if I was a home owner again as a precaution not to break the glass. This video assumes you have a robot that can lower glass precisely over tile and other hard surfaces without breaking it. If you accidently tilt the glass one way or the other ....BOOM !!!!!
Is there no audio? Or is it just me?
It’s you
@@estuardoperez5277don’t you gaslight me😂
😂😂😂
This is the best installation video I have seen, very thorough, thank you so much!
Is it ok to drill through the water proofing for the floor bracket?
Could just use 3m double sided tape instead of drilling into tile and shower base
Do you sale the shower glass?
Hello please can you give me information on where I can order the glass and the materials? Thank you
Ok what size drill bit would be good to show in the video
Where’s the sound
Can you install without backing behind the wall anchors? I have 1/2 inch travertine, 1/4 inch thinset, 1/2 inch float, 1/2 inch drywall. So only 1/4 inch max is gonna grab into the stud behind the wall? Are the green anchors enough?
How do you adjust for door sweep to be installed ? The bottom of door is too tight to install. That's after installing the clips at 8" & 70" based on instructions. The door sweep is too close to tile to install!
Do the hinges fit fully into the "ear" shaped cutouts for safety?
why don't they put sealant in the holes where the brackets are installed in the tile?
Yes it makes sense to me to seal the holes.
Definitely do that
Hello! I have a question about Model #GW-WH-32-BN sold at Lowes. " Is it 1 or 2 pieces for such a small 32 3/8" opening? If it is 2, how wide will the actual door be? Do you sell a 1-piece frameless? Will the model listed work for my shower if the tiles in which the hinges will be mounted are out of plumb/unlevel by 1/16" & 1/8"? Thanks!
Only silicone the outside of the glass. You don't seal both sides. If water finds a way to get in there, it's a perfect place for mold to start growing. Only seal the outside.
Sound???
Where do you get those wedges to level the glass?? Do they come with the installation kit?
Well obviously they aren't interested in answering our questions. Did you ever find out? Thx!
yes
I don’t know who made this video, but they need a raise.
Haha right
My shower head is on the left side as you look at it. We want to enter from the right side of the shower. If we enter from the left like the instructions the commode will be in the way. Is it possible to switch sides without creating that seem between the doors so water will escape from?
you just put it in flipping it like mirror reverse
Set up in my garage. Sure comes in handy. Works great
I just received your 78" version... preparing to install now. 2 Questions: 1) Do you suggest or recommend a particular sealant? One video suggested the Lawrence Water Clear Silicone, which is currently ~$80 per tube. 2) What is the spray indicating as applied just after the silicone bead is run?
Where is sound?
Good
Can you put the stationary panel next to the shower head, and the moving panel (door) on the other side sliding on the OUTSIDE of the shower (away from the shower head)? This would still keep spray from the showerhead from getting between the panels.
Did you do this? How did it work out?
@@MrJakesnake6 FLAWLESS! Ok, there are some compromises. I need to go all the way into the shower before I turn on the water, which isn't ideal--but I just aim the shower head away from me while the water warms up. Also, the rollers are a bit prettier on the inside of the shower than on the outside--but it's all darned pretty either way. The assembly instruction video is AWESOME, so it's easy to see what adjustments are required to assemble the shower in the way I've described. (For example, no, you don't start by putting the sliding panel on the inside of the shower; it's going to be on the OUTSIDE of the shower, so leave it out there as you install the rest.) Is there some way I could post a photo here? (If I think of it when I get home, I'll post something to TH-cam.)
@@nobodydotreally I would love to see a picture of how you did this. Sounds like I am doing the same set up as you are.
Here's a video of my (quite successful) results: th-cam.com/video/uP3Y2Z54tOg/w-d-xo.html
@@Stevenbalee See below.
How do you escape from this shower? The only handle is on the exterior!
Ok, I figured this out: The pretty handle is on the outside, but there's a nice "knob" that extends on the inside, opposite the handle, which lets me slide the door. As noted above, I assembled my shower in a slightly different way than the manufacture recommends, but the handle works fine either way.

Wow! this is one of the more relaxing videos ever.!
Best video ever.
But what if the shower floor is sloping?
Will This work on a curbless/barrier free shower?
Don't see why not.
does ur shower glass chose the low iron glass solution scheme ?
What is the purpose for metal strip that they install on the floor on the right side at the end?? I don’t get it.
@@glasswarehouse what if the curb is pitched towards the shower like 1/8 inch do you need this metal strip or is it just insurance?
I had same question. With a pitched curb, I don’t see the point of the strip. I’m going to test it without strip when we install it in the coming week and reply back with my results.
@@edwurtle please let me know, I plan on trying without the strip aswell but im like 2 months out before id install.
@@throlyhd9448 I installed without the strip. After a 10 minute shower, only sprinkles of water leak under the shower door. Most don't come close the to edge of the curb. Maybe two small drops barely reached the edge of the curb, however no water went past the edge. Bathroom floor and front of curb stayed completely dry. I think it mainly depends on your size of shower... larger the shower less chance of water leaking. For reference, I have a 68" x 41" shower pan with a cut down schluter curb which slopes inwards. My contractor told me he only installs the strip on request, he doesn't see any benefit of the strip. I also did not silicone the fixed panel.. barely any water leaks under fixed panel. I also have a a 1/4" gap on the fixed panel wall side (due to unleveled outside wall), no water leaks there under normal use. Also only used a one of the plastic gaskets (handle edge of door panel)... Only issue we might run into is cleaning the shower using the shower wand... we'll have to be careful spraying directly toward shower door edges. I suggest to try without the strip and try without silicone. You can easily add strip and silicone later.
@@edwurtle thx for the data👍
