Yes.

I’ve never owned a Throne so I can’t say. What I can say is that overall it’s a very solid bike. Definitely worth it.
Can you run these tubeless?
I imagine you can but I’m not 100% sure.

The original came out in '87. This is a re-pop from a few years back. There's also a Lavender color that just came out.

Both are great! It’s really going boil down to personal preference!

I love Big Rippers pretty much out the box. First thing I’ll change is the freewheel though. Other than that Rippers are dope af.
Gt bikes are pretty dope. I would take off the reflectors and hit up rideoutsupply + freewheel and rideoutsupply reflective lime yellow - green spoke skins (and wrap the brake cable) and two reflective chain stay rideoutsupply stickers. Noice gt dyno the maxxis tires are like the og tires.
This bike has a cassette hub in the rear the freewheels won’t work.
I installed odsy evo2 brake kit, odsy thunderbolt cranks on my 29er cult raw colorway. I have red anodized everything with primo tenderizer pedals and the cultxvans whitewall with red pinstripe. Nice ride i dig the skinwalls.
I just picked up the raw frame! Making some mods as we speak! I’ll probably do a video on it once I’m done with the mods! Love those tires, they’re hard to come here in out area! Would love to see your complete!
The bike looks sick! Funny, I have a 2017 26” Performer that was the same blue frame, but with black everything else. I swapped out all the black parts for white ones a couple years ago 😂

I can’t test ride but I’m 6’5, do you think this bike will work for someone this tall? I just wanna cruise.
Depending on the type of riding your doing, the terrain, etc., I would probably look at a Monster Quad or a Monster Ripper. It really all depends. My recommendation is that you try it out and see if it’s a good fit for you. Happy Hunting! 🤟🏼

I swapped out the chainring with a chopsaw blue chainring I opted for pink cable guides, Chrome beartrap pedals, Chrome Deez nuts Yours looks dope

It looks like the seat post stem is a little bent back. I was thinking about getting one of these but I’m 65. I don’t know if it’s going to be big enough to support me. How tall are you? And is a 26 OK for someone who is 6 foot five?
I would go with a 29" vs a 26". You can always adjust the handlebars closer to you to find the most comfortable seating and handlebars position.

What your bike has is called u brakes. The box brakes that you have are called v brakes. They are 2 different styles of brake systems. Odessey makes a great u brake system. Good luck and Aloha!

I’m looking at getting this bike, but I am concerned about the brakes. Ultimately I’d prefer a disk but if not then a v-brake, which come on the Fit 29 and Sunday 29… how is the rear hub? Is it a cassette or freewheel?
If you’re thinking of getting one, I would do it. I absolutely love this bike and would love another one in a different color. The rear is a cassette and since having this bike, I’ve never had an issue with it. I understand your concern regarding the brake. I ultimately relaxed the stock brakes with Odesesy Springfield U brakes and it works fine. Have fun and good luck!
The Odyssey Evo 2.5 Brake Kit is suppose to be an appropriate upgrade for the Devotion system also. Have no information regarding the installation of V Brakes. Keep doing the videos, good stuff!

Dope the oldschool primo meat tenderizer aluminum pedals in candy red or black and mcs black cat, white industries, ros freewheel. I would run 33/16 ratio with maxxis hookworms no doubt. cheers brotha

Dude the new four piece s&m bars look killer and definitely better than the stock 6.75" rise cult bars that come on the bike. I ordered some new volume four piece 9.5 mad dog bars in black. The only two things I take my raw 29er cult to bike shop is to true the damn wheels and the stupid ass brakes i hatem with a passion lol. I hope the 85mm box three line up, i bet they will. cheers brotha
Hey, hey! I just tried to line up the Box Three (85 mm) rear brake and it’s NOT compatible. They don’t line up right. BUT the Odyssey Springfield ones are working out great!!!!! Would love to get the 29” Devotion in Raw!!!! 🔥

Order the odyssey Springfield brakes. Seems like all the cult guys are going to them. I'm thinking about doing the same to mine. I did a tire swap to some kenda gum walls, 9.5 rise haro baseline bars. And went with a pivotal seat post and an alienation legend pivotal seat.

Do you think or know if the Box Three Brake kit (85 mm) would work? The one's I tried to switch them with were the Box Three (108 mm) and the brake arms were too long/weren't compatible. I just ordered those Odyssey Springfield and Box Three (85 mm). I'll see which ones work best! Thanks for the recommendation! Quick update: I added the odyssey Springfield brake kit and I’m loving it! Pretty easy to install a quick, slight adjustment on the brake lever and good to go! Thanks again for the heads up! 💪🏼👊🏼
I would like to get a better free wheel for my GT pro series 29 do you have any recommendations? I asked the bike place that I bought it from and they said they couldn’t help me because GT had specific specs or something like that and they couldn’t recommend one.
I would go with one from Ride Out Supply or Origin8 Hornet. I’ve used both and m completely happy with them. Let me know which one you decide on getting! 🤘🏼🚲

Did you have any more issues with those hookworms? I just purchased the same bike today and was curious how they mounted on a 29x1.75 wheel since the tires are bigger slightly
Hey, congratulations, that’s awesome!!! Although great tires, the width on the Hookworms didn’t leave me enough clearance on the sides. It was very minimal. After playing around with it and trying different tire sizes, I found 29” x 2.1 to be the best size for this bike. Even a 29” x 2.3” left just a few millimeters on the sides of the wheel well/bottom part of of the frame. I’m currently running (29” x 2.1”) Cult Vans tires which have been great! I’ll be doing an updated video soon here to show y’all the new changes! 🎥
I was going to order these maxxis hookworms for my cult. I agree dude 29 x 2.1 29 x 2.3 max clearance. i dig the cult x vans tires I've ran the teal color for a year with zero issues and tires grip good. ordered the black vans for the raw cult devotion for the winter. robbie morales and cult have me hooked on the loop tails homie. salute
I wouldn’t even go 29” x 2.3”, for me, it wasn’t enough clearance with maybe a 2-3 mm clearance on each side. My personal recommendation is max 29” x 2.1”. That’s awesome! I'm running the odi longneck st grips in neon lime green on my cult 29er raw frame with army green vans tires with raw s&m elevenz bars. installing the 29" pounding beers s&m forks soon. cult makes some dope cruisers.

is it ok to upgrade the brakes to dics brake?
No. It doesn’t have the rear mount on the frame to add the disc brake mount and I don’t believe there is enough space in the rear hub for it.
Sweet ride. Ive been looking at getting a 29" myself. I always wanted a PK Ripper growing up. So buying and SE Big Ripper might be the next best thing. Ive looked at the one you have. I already have a Race Inc red anodized bike just like I had when I was 15 54 now. So now sure I want two red anodized bikes. I do like the additions you have done though. Thanks for sharing
