Yes. "The Battle of Corrin" was a good book, better than the first two from the Dune Legends trilogy

I loved this season. I woul dhave loved it more, if Lord Deblin wouldn´t just have disappeared into nowhere suddenly. Cressida (not sure, this is spelled correctly), as annoying she is, I still liked her and would have loved to see her falling in love with Lord Deblin seriously. Her actions are all understandable. Maybe a bit stupid and rushed, but she obviously has good reasons and I would have loved to explore this a bit more and to her getting a kind of happy ending and redemption. I am pretty sure, if she wasn´t in such a panic about being sent off to her aunt (which by the way seems like a really horrible person), she would have retreated from her plan to expose Pen. She even explained it to Colin and I totally get it, that was self-protection, she doesn´t have a loving family, that backs her up no matter what. I hope, she comes back and gets the chance to grow as a character. The Polin romance, I just don´t care about all these sex scenes at all, those were the actual reasons, I only started watching Bridgerton a year ago, I really don´t feel comfy watching them... well, I enjoyed watching Benedict and Paul, tho... I don´t think, it is needed to show it, to make watchers understand what is happening, so yeah, I wasn´t bothered, that they showed less of Polin making out. I was, however, offended by Colin sleeping on the couch right after the wedding... I mean, he literally was okay with Pen being Lady Whistledown, but not grown up enough to accept Pens decision of not stopping to write, thought, the Queen wouldn´t have stopped in her investigations anyway, no matter if Pen continued writing or not. I love Kate and Anthony, what a happy loving couple and yes, Kate is literally glowing up in her pregnancy <3 Violetts lovestory is cute, but what I fancy with all my heart is her friendship to Agatha, especially after the hints on how their friendship grew over the years and how long their friendship is actually already lasting.. I ship those two. The fact, that Lady Danbury is actually the one convincing the Queen, that it is more fun to let the game go on instead of punishing Lady Whistledown was great. The most annoying character in this season was Elois, she wasn´t a good friend to Cressida and somehow she felt off to me, like she wasn´t herself at all. I mean, apparently the damage Pen caused her wasn´t that bad at all, as Elois was still invited to all the balls, no one treated her badly and an important part was caused by Elois wanting to find out who Lady Whistledown was, bringing Pen and herself to great risks with all her actions. For her, being such a smart and intelligent woman it doesn´t make sense she wasn´t able to see, that Pen just tried to protect her the best way possible. I enjoyed Pen and her mother a lot and also the interactions between the three sisters, seeing them growing up as persons while staying to be these annoying and naive girls added a lot of fun for me. I hope.they make haste producing season 4, I need more of this. Give me a prequell with Violetts love story and at least the birth of her first two or three kids. I want to see more of the friendship between her and Agatha and Agatha and the Queen.

I think that if they want to mix it up, they should have Eloise be the romantic interest of Michaela. They are spoiling true love stories. Why? Do we have to have a lesbian, gay, every nationalionality, three partner sex, the handicapped, it begins to look ridiculous. They miss the love story and connection with the characters. A little salt and spice is good, but drowning the production makes it un palatable.

I had no idea what to think of this movie. Everyone was wrong. I hated the mom blaming her daughter for how she exposed Chris, I also hated that the daughter apologized for being a mess of a 13 year old after her father's death, I didn't believe the transition from Chris being a manchild to being a sensitive love interest. I didn't get it ! 😅

I was curious about this movie but I was hesitant as soon as I saw the "Kissing Booth" girl lol. Thank you for your sacrifice. It really does sound like the story came from Wattpad, I wouldn't be shocked if that was the case. Oh and also, Cobra Kai never dies!

I agree with you, although I have to add in my case I had a hard time with Francesca. I just couldn't get her character. The fact that Michael is John's best friend and secretly in love with Francesca is the core of their story. Francesca is unaware of Michael's feelings and is madly in love with John. So, when Michael and Francesca's story begins you are really for them getting together. Enter Michaela. Well, if they keep going that way. Francesca will be broke, she will have to depend on Anthony for her upkeep and to find a husband for her because Michaela as a woman, cannot inherit anything. This is 1810, not 2024. And if they don't keep Michaela, I guess there would be a completely new character introduced. This series is not Bridgerton.

In the show I felt like Fran never loved John and was more marrying him to get it over with. It bugged me because I loved there story in the book and it broke my heart in the book when he died. I feel like show John cared for Fran but she didn’t feel the same. She seemed to think well he’s nice and we have some stuff in common. It was more like well I’ll be able to play the piano and that will be that. I don’t care about the gender bending, what I care about is how Fran seemed to suddenly be struck by insta love. I’m not a fan of cheating in my romance novels or movies and I will not be okay if they physically or emotionally cheat. With how they handled that meeting I sadly feel it will be a cheating story which I’m just not okay with. John is a good guy he doesn’t deserve that and I won’t be able to get behind a love story that has cheating.

Nicole is beyond beautiful and talented but I cannot buy into her story when her face doesn't convey authenticity. All I see is something 'off' and I'm searching for the real Kidman. I don't begrudge her getting work done but it is at a level where she no longer looks like Nicole Kidman and it takes me right out of the story..

Well said and well thought out. I agree with your assessment. Michael in the book is so much more appealing for me. If people haven’t read the book it wouldn’t matter, but when you have, you create those images and expectations for the show.

I so agree with all that you say. Exactly how I feel about the book and what we saw Season 3. Michael Stirling is my FAVORITE Bridgerton spouse. I'm grieving as if they murdered Michael. And honestly I was predicting Eloise as the "lesbian" love story heroine.

I'm sad that people have to call fans of the books like me hurtful words just because I want the adaptation to be as close to the books as possible. It feels like the major media and it's online advocates always resort to name calling when fans don't agree with their changes. Just please write original stories and leave our beloved franchises alone. I'm hoping Bridgerton show fixes the harm they did to Benedict and Francesca. But I'm not holding my breath.
