Herb Philbrick is well know as a counter spy, infiltrating the Communist party in the United States for the FBI in the 1940s. This program will discuss his third life; as a family man. The focus will be on his time in Rye and Seacoast New Hampshire, including Herb Philbrick's Store and Cott Quality Beverages. Mention will also be made of his six children with his wife Eva.

I grew up in Rye on Manor Drive. My great grandfather was a plumber and lobsterman (Harold Marshall) that owned the restaurant I believe it was called harbor Master. Ty for the post! Interesting.
I really enjoyed this video. My grandmother's great grandmother was born in Rye, Annie Mary Brown (married name Grover). She passed down a broach that was given to her by her own grandmother, Sarah Drake Seavey which includes a lock of her husband's hair that was kept during the War of 1812 when he was away fighting.
