I thought the music and singing were lovely (I uploaded 2 videos separately from the service). The Sermon by a North American female Bishop not so much. She gave a rather sneering final comment, which was "Let the Service begin" and I thought what do you think the King as Prince of Wales has been doing for the past 50 years, including in Scotland?! By the way, the order they processed into the Church was how they were meant to be at Westminster Abbey but because the Waleses arrived late, they tagged on to the back behind the King & Queen, in a makeshift order. Jonny had to break free from the Procession to call the Archers standing at the side of the Abbey to follow him and in front of the Prince & Princess and Charlotte & Louis! Ah! Got it right away, thanks! A nice one too. Do you ever see the new Equerries chatting away to other people? Never! But Jonny could talk to anybody, inspite of being shy. He was so comfortable in that environment. It's lovely to see.

Ooh forgot to add, also saw a screenshot from the Burns Night Supper where he's dancing with that actor. I never posted the video as it was his private life during his time off, but he looked to be enjoying himself! 😂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Though apparently he's not a big drinker, he was described as "a lightweight" by a friend. Well I'm the same, so we would get on fine! 😂😍

Not sure, probably someone from the Kenyan Government PR or liaison with the organisers of the Tour. I should imagine Jonny had virtual meetings with her to set everything up and agree arrangements and itinerary. Mind you, that man can chat to anybody, he's always very friendly and sociable! 🥰

I love to see him saluting to his Army colleagues and being slightly shy and unaware of the cameras then. There's alot of Equerry to the Prince of Wales material that I want to delve into whilst waiting for his next appearance. 🥰

Oh, there definitely is a great mutual respect and affection. He was trying to get HM from BP to Windsor on time for Lunch and then Ascot. The King may not need to eat Lunch but I gather Jonny very much does! 😅 He moves quickly for a big man so needs refuelling regularly! New/old video will be with you soon. 🥰

It's probably better for my sanity I don't have to trawl through getty videos after engagements anymore looking for clips of him, I do miss him though. And that uniform. 💔 He certainly left an impression. I was thinking Jonny's core fan base seems to be women of a certain age and gay men. The younger ones go for Boyband Ollie or Rob. Sadly no kilts to be seen at Royal events now, just plenty of Royal Navy uniforms. 😰

Not enough of Jonny though, not in comparison to Ollie, and nothing with him speaking, which disappointed me after those initial clips were released. And also a bit too much of Camilla's sister! But yes, I loved the behind the scenes footage, and when the Archbishop said he got a call saying "London Bridge" it was so emotional! Tumultuous days.

@@larhumba4233 Yes, I agree, and in the full documentary it was good to see the Bishop of Durham (now retired - I live in the diocese and knew his wife slightly) acting as one of the King’s Bishop assistants. Very proud of that.

I really should learn how to make a playlist as Jonny is scattered all through my Skating & other Royal videos! That was such a chaotic day and I don't think Camilla was feeling well, but they soldiered through and looked exhausted by the time they got on the plane. Not Jonny as he scampered up the plane steps like a thoroughbred! Yes, the bearded guy is called Jack and from the Met Protection team. Never tire of seeing Jonny, and so easily spotable. I struggle to find today's Equerries unless it's the very tall one or Ollie.

If they are the ones I am thinking about it seems, to me anyway, that he was about to cross the road then espied the photographer and hung back. Of course I could be reading too much into it. Poor bloke but that’s what you get for being a ‘dish’!! 😍

I noticed during the Kenyan Tour he was directing the Met Protection Officers what to do, eg. On the beach in Mombasa he was shouting "watch the sea" whilst the King walked towards it. Also I remember reading on LinkedIn that he'd worked at a Security Think Tank in London after Uni before joining the Army. I had wondered what that was about, so he did an MA? No, he is truly perfect. I see the sexiest man in UK was Jeremy Clarkson, was that a joke? Surely it's Jonny? 😎🔥

@@larhumba4233 Hmm. Not sure about her, she seems a go getter. Still none of my business and it’s his life. As long as he’s happy. He seems to be very protective of his son; have only seen the one photo in the woods where his face is blocked and to my knowledge he has never been named so yes I hope he manages to fit in plenty of time with him. It can’t be easy juggling everything. Not judging by any means, just my opinion.

This video went viral in America and I got a ton of comments daily, some of which I had to delete as they were offensive about the King! I got the impression, much as he really enjoyed the role, he was exhausted, and it took over his whole life with not much privacy. He turned 40, was in a new relationship and needed to make time to see his son, so he spoke to the King about a different role. As you know, Equerries only hold the position for 3 years. He's been with the Prince of Wales since the Pandemic so well over 3 years, more like 4. Unless they restarted the clock when Charles became King and retained Jonny as his Equerry, that's 2 years, almost. Do you think he'll return to the Army next year?

@@larhumba4233 Shouldn’t have thought so. His girlfriend appears to have a high flying job in London, his son is apparently in Wiltshire and his regiment is based in Edinburgh so it wouldn’t make sense but at least his pension is safeguarded. Also I am sure that when he was given his new position around last October that I read he was on a 4 year secondment from the Army but as I sometimes doubt my sanity take that with a pinch of salt!!🙂🙃

Oh, I agree, but I'm rather sad if he has left the Army as he loved it so much, trained highly for it, and was a born Officer. Also he did look good in uniform! But I guess time moves on, and he had to make a choice? I'm sure the King didn't want to lose him from his household, and the Royal Regiment of Scotland got positive publicity out of him being at the King's side for that period from 2022-23 especially. The other Regiments and Services needed a look in, but the Royal Navy uniform of the new Equerry is not a patch on Jonny’s, which was so distinctive. You could always easily spot him. 😎🥰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Sadly Jonny’s last overseas trip with the King. 😢💔 (It was also the day after that tawdry book naming the King & Catherine was in the press, and yet the King still received a wonderful reception at the International University with multi racial students. I do think the press overplay the impact of the nonsense from America affecting the RF).

Yes, he does, during his Army days he led a military exercise in cooperation with French Forces, and was able to converse with them during that. Ofcourse he did study International Relations as part of his University degree at Aberystwyth.

Absolutely! Well said! It wouldn't surprise me if he travels with the King & Queen to the Commonwealth Conference and then on to Australia in October if the King's health permits. Jonny has become indispensable and such a trusted figure, he's the most Senior of Equerries.

How come everyone knows everything all of a sudden!

I totally agree, should've been on the World's Podium in my view, but the Judges just slotted them into 4th place irrespective of how the top 3 skated. How much longer can you win medals when you've made mistakes, whilst those who skate clean and move the audience don't? LilahandLewis have done more to bring a new audience to Ice Dance with their unique, dynamic programs than any other couple in today's field.
