Today I'm going to show you how to resize tire chains that are the wrong size to fit your tire on your lawn tractor or any other tire. With this you can buy lawn tractor tire chains that aren't specifically for your tire size and make them fit with just a little bit of elbow grease.
Tools needed:
Bolt Cutters
Crescent Wrench
Pliers
Welder (I use a stick welder)

😂 You must have wanted to use the welder. Yeah, just cut 12 from the end. 5 minute job.
Thats the long way around. You could have just removed 12 links from the end.
The common core method.
Holy crap, that is excessive. It would be easier to just pull the cross chains off and move them down the line. Only 2 cuts, no welding, and the cross chain hooks are meant to be opened and closed.
