I’m a fan!
I know, it’s crazy - at first, I was confused how someone who sounds like they’ve never had vocal training was chosen to sing the US national anthem at a big game.
So, I looked her up and discovered she’s a 4-time Grammy-nominated singer, which made me even more puzzled!
After listening to a live performance, I found I really liked her songwriting and storytelling.
Sure, her vocal technique could use some work here and there, but regardless, her singing voice is quite beautiful.
Let’s not judge her too harshly and show some love!
