Dec. 8 marks the 34th anniversary of the night the legendary John Lennon was gunned down by Mark David Chapman outside his home in New York City.
Lennon was born on Oct. 9, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He would go on to change rock 'n' roll with The Beatles.

Mark David Capmon is a Idiot For What He Did That Night in 1980!
His assassination still reverberates today 42 years later.. I personally think we have yet to be told the whole story about John's murder and likely never will until americans realize what their CIA has done to their country and to the world and say enough and shut that cancer of Evil down for good.

what does andy Peebles mean when he said paul dropped his phone, he said one with the bendy leads? what's he talking about, no cell phones back then? I never understood that part 39:42
Cell phones started around late 80s , early 90s, so clearly no one could have had them in 1980
He dropped his telephone _handset_ -- people often spoke of the handset as the phone when they were on. The "bendy leads" refer to the spirally cord connecting the handset to the telephone base. Notice the up-and-down motion Peebles makes when he says "bendy leads". When you drop a handset like that, it bounces up and down on the cord. Peebles' memory for that moment is almost photographic.

What enrages me more than anything is the fact that John took the time to give an autograph to his soon to be killer. You would think that a psycho would kill John for NOT giving him an autograph but you are a real piece of shit garbage human being for killing him just cause..

One of his associates comments that John could have never ever dreamed what was going to happen. But I remember long ago hearing that he did have a foreboding dream that he was going to be shot and, henceforth, stayed indoors for a long time, didn't go out. After a few years, he must have decided the danger was over.

How could Lynn have been at the hospital when Lennon was brought in when he was called while sitting at home to treat Lennon who was already in transit from a couple blocks away?
Lynn has either mis-remembered or made up some stuff about what happened that night. "The Lennon Report" is a re-enactment like a docudrama, but is closer to what actually happened. Lynn was called from home as you say. The doctor who was doing most of the work on him was Dr. David Halleran, and Lynn came in later.

That's not what he said. He said that indeed they had a VIP in their midst and it was their job to try and resuscitate him (just like anyone else who would have been brought in in that same condition).
