Thanks dude! It said press into place and i was afraid i made a mistake. I think the wording is just off.
I am glad it worked out !
How much run
The wood is now full of water. Its a big no no to pressurewash wood
The wood is outside it gets water Every day
Hi. Thanks for your video. The manual says press the foil until the window when you heat it. So I am a bit confused. Wouldn't the foil be too tight and brake if you press the foil until the window? Did you have a lot of air between the window and foil? What's the best thing to do?
Hello, maybe u have another brand then mine. Mine Said to heat the foil until the wrinkels were gone. The foil itself is pretty sturdy it is still hanging without any cracks. And i think there is 2cm of air (think its close to an inch)
@@bechill1873 thanks for your answer. No it's exactly the same brand. But it seem impossible to press it against the window. 2 cm with air seem right, so I will go for your method. :)
@@ytringer let me know how it goes !
@@ytringerthe packaging says it "forms an insulating cushion of air" so there is supposed to be left a gap between the film and the glass. It doesn't say how big though, but I'm guessing a couple centimetres does the job 🤷
I read not too much of a space between the window and the foil.. About 1,5 cm.. No less. Not much more.. Because the air is an isolator. But if you have too much space between the glass and the foil.. There wil be convection. Meaning the air will not be standing still but there will be a loop that will lower the insulation. It will be a rotating/movement of air from low too higher and down again.. and so transport warmth form inner side too outer glass..
Dose it keep sound out? can you hear the difference
In sound is not really a difference
Tried this today on my whiskey barrel planter with a very good pressure washer and it did absolutely nothing ffs.
Strange, what attachment do u have for u pressure washer ? I used a turbo nozzle.
@@bechill1873 Just tried it once more, it's a Karcher K4. Trird with both types of nozzles on max pressure. It cleans patio tiles but the wine barrel seems immune to it unfortunately, gonna try sanding it hopefully that works.
@@smeshfactory3992 hope so to for u, keep me posted !
@@bechill1873 Sanding is definitely working however it requires a lot of elbow grease and going through a fair amount of sand paper, I'll have to pick some more up tomorrow. Not sure if you can help but my barrel was used for Whiskey. It looks like it's charred on the inside, completely black as if it's been burnt. I'm going to use it as a pot for an olive tree, what shall I do about the black interior, do I leave it or apply some type of coating etc? thanks.
@@smeshfactory3992 Maybe put some foil on the inside of the pot as a Barrier?
Thanks for show us how to use this. In summer keep the heat outside too?
And yes it keep a Barrier for the heat to
What psi did you use without damaging the barrels?
I think arround 1600
At the end of winter season, I think you are supposed to take out / to take away / to tear down this "Tesa Thermo Cover transparent film" from your windows. Does the double-sided adhesive tape leave traces of glue or does it damage the surface of the frame of your windows ? What material is the frame of the window made of: painted wood, coloured pvc, painted aluminium ? Thanks a lot for your video, I have really appreciated it, very well filmed and done.
At some point i redid a window the sticky tape is easy to remove but I didnt take it away as it should work in the summer to for the warmth, the window itself is painted wood. And thank you for the kind words glad u liked it !!
@@bechill1873 Can I ask you why at some point you decided to re-do / re-apply the Thermo film on one window ? Was the film detaching from the adhesive tape or perhaps the themo film by itself get broken / get any hole ? Anyway, I am pretty surprised (and really glad) that, as you wrote, if you remove the double-sided adhesive tape from the frame of the window, it doesn't leave traces of glue or it does't stain the paint / fade the paint / whiten the paint or it doesn't detach some small pieces of paint from the frame. I would have expected definitely some problems like that, expecially on a woden frame painted in glossy black colour like the windows you filmed. Really useful informations and experience 👍. By the way, maybe have you any further suggestion / advice to give me, overall, about this product, its installation and its functioning ? I have decided to put this Thermo film on my windows as well; I live in New Zealand and winter is approaching 🥶; but I have in mind to keep the film on the windows only during the cold period, because I am afraid that, from an aesthetical point of view, it spoils the general appearance of the window / of the house (it can be not nice looking).
@@ooogappp i redid one window because when i was applying the film i Just messed up human error. And yes u can see the film there but it is not bad when all the wrinkels are gone with a hairdryer Just for cleaning the window it is a fine plastic film so u need to be careful
Does anyone know how to remove smells from whiskey barrels? I attempted to fill my barrel with water and now it really stinks after being wet.
Is what i found on google let me know if it works ! Mix a tablespoon of sodium percarbonate or soda carbonate per gallon of water to make a cleaning solution. Make enough solution to fill up most of the barrel. Swirl this solution around in your barrel to get rid of the mold or smell.
@@bechill1873 I'll give it a try. Thanks
Thanks for the video, I am considering buying it, do you notice any improvement in the coldness inside of the house?
Not a Massive diference but it is a bit warmer if u sit close to the window
Nice good keep continuing

YES!!! I knew I didn't have to sand em down! I mean they're gonna be planters outside. I'll do this then seal
You can use some Oxalic acid by putting into a bucket with hot water and paint the whole barrel. Leave to set over an hour then jetwash off. I wish I had a jet washer, that’d helped me even further.
thank you, mate!
Ur welcome!
One of the best installation video. Thanx.
Thank you !!
For stopping mushrooms use #univog ozonewatersystem Put into the line of pressure washer #gedmbh
Great video!
Do you get any issues with the cops? My car is just as loud and it scares me lol
I dident have any issues with them, just casual driving when Passing them
Just did this too my car. The red and carbon fiber match up so well. But i ended up buying the oem black buttons instead of the silver ones
Guess they Will fit better indeed u have a link ?

My tips aren’t aligned properly, how can I straighten them?
First thing that comes to my mind is checking your rubber hangers of the exhaust ?
I enjoyed your barrel cleaning video, and would like to know what size pressure washer you used. I tried using a 1500 psi washer, but was unsuccessful. I wanted to leave this comment on that video, but comments are turned off. Thanks for the great videos!
Thank you for the reply, i think it is because of the music i used, the pressure washer i used was 1800 psi with a small nosle maybe u used anonther one ?
@@bechill1873 Hmmm, The way yours cleaned so easily, I would guess 3000 psi or more. Do you remember the make/model and/or size, like was it small and portable, or larger on wheels or trailer?
@@chef6965 its a karcher model i dont remember i know its arround 130-160 bar so for the psi i used a online covertor and it a meduim sized model on wheels not portable
@@bechill1873 Great, thank you for that info. That puts it at 1800 - 2300 psi. That makes sense. Just wish I'd found your video before I spent so many hours sanding!
@@chef6965 no problem glad i could help
What over pipe are you using
Borla
be chill do you have a link to it I couldn’t find it anywhere
Is this an oak barrel? And if so, was that either rot/algae you were blasting off? I’m currently restoring a barrel and having to sand it, I’m not sure that a pressure washer would be strong enough to remove allot of the build up on the barrel I currently have.
It was an oak barrel and they where algae the top part is rot en needs to be removed. U can try to use pressure washer first to get the most of dirt and algaes of it ?
be chill I’ll give it a whirl. I may even get it blasted as I think it’ll be stubborn to remove. There’s what looks like sap and other grime. It’s an aged barrel.
@@doug7844 maybe look in the shops for a good wood cleaner, less chance to damage the wood ?
This is awesome. What psi you using?
20 to 120 bar 290 to 1740 psi ( online conversion)
What power jet wash
Karcher hd650
Check out mine. It’s on my channel!
Is this Invidia Catless non resonated ?
yes it is non resonated
Literally just spent 3 hours on a sander when I could have just done this
It is quicker indeed but for perfect finish sanding after is key
Spinning of the front wheels will lessen the actual wheel horsepower of the car.
Do believe the dyno can compensate for that loss.
Did you put any detergent or solution in the water?
Just water
Nice job
How bad is the drone?
U are getting used to it but in the beginning it can be loud :D
@@bechill1873 Is the exhaust legal in belgium? or do you take it off before you go to the inspection? (i'm buying one myself and also want an exhaust setup like the invidia N1 or N2)
tu as quoi comme jantes dessus?
Hi be chill, i got an invedia n1 on my 86 but it came with two separate silencers, if i install the silencers, would it effect the engine or anything?
so u mean ur n1 is not the same as mine shown in de video ?
i got the same one for my 86. its only to muffle the sound if its to loud for the driver. wont effect mpg or engine
steven garcia thanks steven
I get what u mean no its only to muffle the sound indeed like steven said
What tail lights are those? Where can I get them?
they are in an other video, the lights are valenti smoked
u can find them on ft86speedfactory
How do you change the front headlights as well?
front headlights are still the same
How much does it cost for wiring if you mess it up?
i really have no clue in my country the cars have different wiring so the pieces cost me like 1-2 euro
is that detroit or something? shits rekt
its a small town called doel, located next to a power plant, the whole town was relocated for expansions that never happend
What is the law for having aftermarket exhaust on cars?
Do you have an intake too
i have the injen air intake
You spit fire with headers and catless, no resonators? I need it lol
