It seems to me that the vibrations from a jerk bait outperform a spinner's ability to attract trout. And the amount of water I able to cover with jerk baits, including different depths, seem to also add to rate of success. It always outcompetes flies for the same reason, besides being able to cast in any situation. Has anyone else noticed this when fishing for trout? And did you catch bigger fish? Has anyone done the Driftless area with jerk baits and seen a difference?

Love jerk bait. I've been having better luck with blade bait this winter. Cool footage with the snow.

The only thing, unless you're going to keep the fish you catch, those big treble hooks tear a trouts mouth up.

I love and hate these lures. I've caught a lot of great trout with em, but the front treble hook gets fouled in the line every other cast, it drives me crazy!

I love jerk baits! I like to troll them in my kayak! Rapalas are my go to, but right now I discovered Dynamic Lures while at Bass Pros one day. Not I'm hooked! I get more trout on the Dynamic lures than I do Rapalas! I would troll with 2 polls so that I have each type in the water at the same time. My last few videos have been trolling jerk bait and power baiting out in the middle of the lakes. I just subscribe to your channel appreciate your content! Fish on and tight lines!

😂 I was thinking the same thing until a friend of mine gave me a old tackle box full of lures and it had a (Mister twister ) running shad lure 😂 now I can’t wait to use it 🤨 it has a white bottom and a purple and black back
