I never wanted him to play NLU in the first place for two main reasons: first, I don’t want to hear tens of thousands of ⚪️ folk singing the N Word. The song is inappropriate for that audience and always was. Second, I don’t want NLU to overshadow Kendrick’s performance, career or legacy! He’s far too brilliant and talented to have Drake’s nonsense obscure his genius.

Why would KDot perform NLU at the Superbowl when he has a new album? I think Kendrick is somewhere laughing because he probably had no intention on performing it.
