The green light cycle is something I haven’t seen bro that’s so cool i would love to get that color to my collection How can I find it brother pls 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it haha. The greenish light cycle is from the Walmart Exclusive Blu-Ray Collector's 2-Pack. I grabbed mine loose on eBay, it shouldn't be too hard to find.
Oh crap, saw this wave at Walmart, got the AT-ST, A-Wing and Tie Advanced and I think I left this one behind thinking it was a Mando N-1... That will forever be on my mind until I get my hands on one.
@ScorchedStopmotions Lucky! I have the worst stores man, they almost never get the new stuff and when they do it waaaay late.
@@RexRye oof yea my stores have not been great either, I keep checking and hope something cool is in stock
Haven't seen this one yet. Excited for it though. Been dying for an E-Wing that wasn't made of Lego
Did you find the t 6 shuttle from the Ashoka series.
@@boriswolfproductions Still haven't got my hands on one!
i had! and it's awesome. the wings don't rotate but it's very cool. almost the entire body is metal, just the busters are plastic and unfortunately it's not painted of blue. I just didn't like the asymmetry of the vertical part, but I know that it was a solution to fit into the bracket.
@@maraka1983 thank you.I have not found it here in Texas I would love to find it and add it to my collection.
@@boriswolfproductions It was like a miracle to find it on a website here in Brazil, because I was waiting for it and suddenly was there.
Awesome find RexRye, great review! So excited to find one for myself, and the MGS version arriving in October.
@Straswa Thanks! I'll probably end up grabbing the MGS one as well haha
Sick find
I got one after being off the high of the Tron Ride (it was honestly hard to find merch that was affordable and wanted). If it wasn’t for this video I wouldn’t have figured out the light button. Overall I’m pretty happy with it as simple as it is. I wish they included a white light color and that the wheels could roll. I did see the classic Tron cycle toys that came with Ram, Tron, or Flynn depending on which color you picked but they were 70 dollars.
@cmrobbins88 Thanks for watching. I'm glad I could help with the button!
Thanks for the video, very informational!
Looks better then most big versions
Definitely, I would say the paint on this little guy is better than the NECA Cinemachines version and the Action Fleet version.
Nice review! Thanks. It actually put me off buying one to be honest, especially as my options for getting one online are about double the RRP. The fact that the light doesnt bleed into all the designated areas is pretty bad, and there's no white or pale blue colour which is a shame. I actually just would rather have one with well done white paint for the illuminated areas rather than 'working' lights, like the initial die-cast line. I have the Hallmark one too, and that's my favourite Light Cycle replica out there
Same here, I love my Hallmark light cycles! They're the perfect size for me, and they look really good when lit up. Glad you enjoyed the review :)
@@RexRye Do you have the super rare and expensive Hot Toys one? It looks great, but again - it lights up, and doesnt look quite right. Plus, its in mulitple parts and requires multiple battery loads and on/off switches.
@andrewhickinbottom1051 Hell no haha, as cool as it is, I dont like giant statues all that much. I do like the alternate faces you can put on Sam though.
Awesome review! Do you know where one can buy the 3D printed phantom?
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. I actually 3D printed it myself. I found a model on Sketchfab that in no way was meant for printing, but I used it anyway lol. Here's the link: sketchfab.com/3d-models/phantom-ii-star-wars-rebels-d6a0bdb4730448d2a8b96e30113d9284 I believe I did very little beyond rescaling it in Cura.
Man I really wish the jakks Pacific Nintendo toys would make arwings like this or in the diaclone scale. Then you could get the lil pilots too
Still have my Falcon in mint condition
Bought a couple of those on my last visit to Disney World. Great tutorial.
odd how hotwheels, with the name beeing so toyie, respects the collectors perspective, with how the packaging can be compacted for safe keeping, how accurate the paint and molds are. as for the black series millenium, I appreciate the landing gear. It has to lay flat even without the stand at least for playability
do you have the delta 7 and eta 2 jedi ships with hyperdrive ring for titanium series?
I do have a few of the Titanium Delta 7's, but the hyperdrive rings are all long gone from childhood. As for the Eta 2's I only have Anakin's and it's missing the hyperdrive ring and its canopy :( Thanks for watching my video!
The red Y-Wing is based off the infamous "Red Jammer" Y-Wing built by ILM, but never filmed. Apparently, ILM sent Kenner pix of Red Jammer instead of Gold 1. Search "Red Jammer Y-Wing" and you'll find how famous it is among the modeling community.
Jazzwares should hit us with some actual playsets or at least a few more microfigs per vehichle
There are actually two versions of Corridor Mode for the Arwing. Wings all the way back is for deep space corridor flight. Wings just slightly outward is for in-atmosphere corridor flight.
I only ever had a crummy Stormtrooper as my TIE "pilot"...(no real pilot until 1980) As it so happens TIE pilots were kinda just black Stormtroopers...so my 7 year old self painted my first ever Stormtrooper black...using this old goopey crystallized black high gloss paint my Dad had in the shed for God know how many years... Then the actual TIE pilots came out for ESB, and I wanted my Stormtrooper back...so my 10 year old self used a scalpel to scrape the paint off. I was a work in progress I like to think. Anyway...am now restoring my poor flayed Trooper's face and other details with a silicone mould I took from a non-damaged trooper..and I hope to have him repainted, and re-carded soon. AS to MY TIE Fighter?..I thought it looked too wide, and so I removed 2 of the bracing pylons, or whatever they are..the part that fired the wings off....and filled the spring sides with hot glue....I wonder if I will ever get that glue out. Ugh.
That's funny, I "ruined" a lot of my old toys when I was a kid, similar to your stormtrooper situation. Many X-wings with guns purposely broken off because I thought they were annoying. But what else are toys for, if not to let a kid experiment and have a little fun with em? I think that's a beautiful thing. Thanks for the anecdote! And good luck with your poor little Stormtrooper.
I hate how you say. for the time. .at that time our time things were well made and not the half way junk produced in the 2000s..its not miraculous. But simple fact.
Shut up
shit up \
yeah
yeah, the other guys are correct. I hate yopu
Ironic. I hate you

Awesome review! The 3D printed Phantom 2 looks great, cool that it fits onto the Ghost.
Thanks, Good to see you again!
I love the custom Phantom 2! That's awesome!
Thanks! I'll probably print another one slightly larger and do a better job painting it.
@@RexRye Can you share a link to the STL for the Phantom?
@Nicholas_H Well, like I said in the vid, I didn't want to buy one to print, so I found a model free to download on Sketchfab. It's not meant for printing, so the model had a few issues I could see in Cura. I ignored em and printed anyway, and it came out like you see in the video. Here's the model I used: sketchfab.com/3d-models/phantom-ii-star-wars-rebels-d6a0bdb4730448d2a8b96e30113d9284 Good luck and thanks for watching!
My dad found yesterday The Chase of this Ghost..GOOD REVIEW, greetings from Panama
hey there, nice video. Do you know what the scale of these ships are?
I genuinely have no idea haha. I figure they're all wildly different and the line has no uniform scale. Thanks for watching my video!
This just showed up in my feed. A nice collection. I received the Falcon as a gift for my ninth birthday, back in 1978. I still have it. Despite its size, it was my favourite piece of my collection for many years, even after I got my hands on the 3 3/4” Falcon. I sold the majority of my collection decades ago, but held on to that piece. I did kit-bash one change, though. I hated the blocky landing gear, so I carefully carved away the excess with a box knife. It looks so much better that way. I don’t recommend doing this, though! :) Cheers,
Thanks for the comment Jeff. I have to say i think the falcon is my favorite of these little guys. I've always loved the little ships more than the giant ones, and the diecast falon having all the moving bits on it was so cool to me. My brother used to make changes to our toys when we were little, and I HATED it lol, but we had a ton of fun with em anyway, so who cares!
@@RexRye stop talking please forever
Anyone have any info if HWs will ever release more diecast SWs ships any size???????
I remember the X-Wing came out long before the X-Wing pilot Luke figure did. So we had to use Tatooine Luke until then. The same happened with the Tie Fighter toy. They didn't include the Tie Fighter pilot figure until much later. When the kids in my neighborhood played Star Wars, we used either Darth Vader or the standard Stormtrooper figure as the pilot. Some of the kids I knew who had more spending money than the rest of us bought another stormtrooper figure and spray-painted it gloss black, and used that as their Tie Fighter figure until Kenner produced the official one.
That's interesting, the things we did as kids back in the day. I'm lucky I found myself some decent figures for my ships at a comic book store.
☺️ *Promo SM*
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for them? I have to prepare my wallet but I don't want to be scammed
I believe I paid around $50 US for the complete set, including the Steel Diver models. It really depends on how much you want these, but it may be worth considering buying some 3d printed models of these ships as the set is super hard to find and ain't gonna be cheap. Thanks for watching, and good luck!
I got one now. It's dark grey, seems too dark
Hey there, paul! Thanks for watching. It may be that the wash is especially heavy on yours.
Do you sit on floor and play with your star wars toys?
Only on designated play days.
What’s the scale
A little disappointing that it doesn’t have working wheels but I can understand why. Thank you for making this video!
You're welcome, thanks for watching :)
Tron: Ares (TRON 3) is coming with the Director Joachim Rønning ✨ Filming start in august of this year in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦
those hallmark ones are pretty cool in the dark! Also, wish I had some of those too, to add to my 1/64 scale movie TV collection.
I'd definitely say the Hallmarks are my favorite light cycle replicas to date. Thanks for watching :)
did you change your batteries? mine does not glow that bright at all
Yeah mine were dead out of the package, I ended up getting a pack of them off of Amazon.
@@RexRye could you send the name of them? thanks
@Swift Pretty sure they're LR626 batteries, but I'd double check the toys manual to make sure before you pick some up.
@@RexRye picked some up from the place I work and it worked out thanks👍🏼
I'm glad you mentioned the sunglasses 😎 that's what thought before buying my own. 😅
Haha perhaps the paint machines couldn't yet handle the amount of detail needed for the frown. Jaz has come quite a long way since the sunglass-clad stormies.
Would be awesome if they did an Imperial version as a chase model for this like they did in the Titanium series V-Wing and Venator. I look over most ships these days to avoid clutter, but Im weak for those transitional Republic to Empire ones, we absolutely need more of em. Nice review!
I know that Jazwares has teased a chase variant of the V-wing, I believe that may be your imperial variant! Thanks for watching Alex!
I dont understand why they make a plastic stand. That thing should be made of harder plastic or diecast. So that way it doesnt fall over. Btw i prefer micro galaxy squadron. Due to the more detail. It seems diecast models have less detail.
I agree that some of the stands don't do a great job holding the ships up. Perhaps some metal in the base could remedy that issue. I've found that both lines have a place with me. I quite like the mold for both of the Hot Wheels X-wings, I think they do the ships more justice than the fat Micro Galaxy versions.
The Skeksis Scientist in the Dark Crystal had a die cast Tie fighter body as his bionic eye.
Great review. There were some more colors for the bikes like dark blue, red, and pink in Tron Uprising
Very true, but those would appear to be a different type of light cycle model from the 5th gen in Tron Legacy. Thanks for watching!
This bad boy is radical !
Biodigital jazz, man.
Loose part, that don't lock into place bothers me, so I feel the same. Still a cool ship I hope they do one with a concept art V-wing pilot. Great Review!
Wow, I had never seen that piece of concept art, sick design for those pilots. Here's hoping they do more obscure stuff like that later down the line. Thanks for watching!
Great review, did you manage to find this instore or was it a lucky online order?
Thanks for watching! This one here is another lucky Amazon preorder, one of the ones that got pushed forward.
@@RexRye I see, mine’s due Monday but hasn’t shipped yet. Your video did not help curb my patience!
