Our family lived in the Tripler military housing back in the early to mid 1960s. Back then all of the housing up there was townhouse style, not the individual houses there appear to be now. One thing that I'm sure hasn't changed after all these years is the view. From mid Honolulu all the way over to the airport, Pearl Harbor, and the Waianae Range. Sunsets were gorgeous. Thanks for the tour!

I went to the Aloha tower once with my parents when we lived in Hawaii.

I went to the Pearlridge mall when I lived in Hawaii. I would ride the Monorail there and My mother would go there for Ross and My dad would go there for Sears back in the day.I also would go to uptown for my dentist appointments and I also went to the downtown side for the movies where I saw hotel for dogs with my mother in Early 2009 and I went there too see Horton hears a who with my friends Annika and Nadia one day in March 2008 when I was off of school for Spring break.

I went to the Royal Hawaiian Center once with my mother and Grandmother when she was visiting us while we lived in Hawaii.

After Nimitz .In August 2009 I started MacArthur Middle school in Maryland. I went to school at MacArthur Middle school. I was there for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years. This was also my last school that I attended on Base. I would have lunch group every Tuesday at school with special needs girls and I did game club in 8th grade with special needs kids in my school. I also went to the Scince Museum in 7th grade and Gettysburg in 8th grade. I also read rikki tikki tavi and baseball saved us and al capone does my shirts in 7th grade. One time in 7th grade when I was in girls bathroom I found the boys room bathroom pass that belong to Miss Bingham my music teacher at the time who has since passed away and got it returned to her. I also remember this shocked face that my FACS teacher ms Taylor had when I told her that girls were messing with me in the bathroom. who has since passed away as well made when I told her girls were messing with me in the bathroom.I also found out she was one of the few woman to serve in World War 2.I also did turtle club and watched magic school bus in my science classroom in 7th grade.I did game club in 8th grade with special needs kids in my school. I also went to the Scince Museum in 7th grade and Gettysburg in 8th grade.One time in 7th grade the fire alarm went off while I was in the bathroom and I had to do the fire drill with Mr Wheeler my science teacher at the time and My sub for my aid was worried sick for me. One time in Miss Fishback for my homeroom classroom in 7th grade there was no teacher and I had to ask ms Jones for help because it was chaos and she called for a sub right away. I also did fun things too when I got enough eagle tickets such as game day and an auction and Carnival on June 14th 2010 the second to last day of 7th grade. One in the gym I had noticed a boy vandalized a locker in the locker room and I reported it to the gym teacher and I also learn about Gym equipment too. I also notice one time someone vandalize a science textbook and I show Mr wheeler the vandalism and he said oh that is just rude. What was also nice in the Computer lab teacher could sent warnings on the computer through messages so the whole class did not have hear the teacher yelling at one student. I also did a turtle club in school in this club we rasied two turtles through out the year and took them to the bay at the end of the year at the same time we watch the guppies and the snails in the tank at that time for the co teacher for Miss Littlejohn although all his fish have probably died a long time ago by now and I had inform him that his one of fish died. Mr wheeler also lost two of his goldfish during the club and gave 2 away later through the year.He had 5 fish to start out with at start of the school year at that time. Although they have all have died now I am sure. I also used to not like spicy foods until I ate spicy chicken at school at first i did not like it but i did like eventually although this took time. This is also where I got Monkey pox since two other kids at my school had it although that time My Pediatric doctor did not know this was Monkey pox with the Bumps on my chest that I. I also went upstairs at the gym one time after a boy told me to go up there after he told me a ball was stuck up there which was a trick.

In Hawaii I went to Nimitz Elementary.I started that School in Janurary 2006 and I was in 3rd grade at the time of move. At first it was not easy moving schools for me. In my 3rd grade year I went to the Plantation Village in Hawaii and I made an animal for the science fair that year which I still have. I also went ice skating at the Ice Palace with my school. I also would play Triazzle on the computer too. I watched movie in Anne in class one day. In 4th grade I did Freedom walk for 9/11 in September 2006 and The Loi in September 2006 where I got my hulu drum and the Bishop Museum and Iolani Palace. I also did a craft fair with my school and got a shave ice ornament which i still have. I did Christmas Performances the last day before winter break each year a Christmas luau song in December 2006. I also had bike Education in February 2007 because back then I was afraid to ride bikes when I was younger. I also did May Festival in May 2007. I also played Math keys on the computer. One time a boy named Trevor broke our classroom ball at recess one day. Then in 5th grade I did the Fall Festival at my school in 5th grade where I would do Carnival games and did bouncy castles and I had outback for dinner in October 2007. I also had a movie night with my school in October 2007. I also went to Starbase and I got my own rocket.In December 2007 I sang its a marshmallow world at school. I also saw a lion dance one day in February 2008 in 5th grade and I also did a pasta night for my school. I also did the Fall Festival at my school in 6th grade where I would do Carnival games and did bouncy castles and I had Jumba Juice in 6th grade.I also had an Indian celebration in 6th grade in October 2008. I also did May Festival in May 2009 at my school. I also did service day in Library and Office and sometimes the Cafe too in school.

The schools that I had in Colorado. I went to Mission Viejo in Colorado which is a Preschool that is where I started school. The bathroom had foot markers green for the girls and white with spots for the boys. I also would roll around in this round toy I cant exactly describe it. I also had difficultly with my work there too some time like writing an r and I took too long on a task one day that I missed show and tell because of that. Then after that I moved to Dakota Valley Elementary there I can remember Miss Peggy being out one day because her husband died. I also remember having conferences in school in Kindergarten. I also made a clay turtle in 1st grade and clay frog in 2nd grade in art class and I also heard god bless America and god bless the usa and the military themes song in music class. One time in 2nd grade a girl named Asia asked me to skip class with her to go miss Chapman room and I did get in trouble for that. I also would play Keybo and Starfall on the computer back in the day as well as the original Kid Pix. I also would look at books in the library and sit on a purple couch which the school no longer has. I also would have lunch group with other special needs girls every Thursday at school. However When I first started doing this Ms pat or Ms donna who would accompany me to lunch first worried where I was since I was not eating in the cafeteria in school on Thursday. I also would also read books in my chapmans rooms who has since retired a long time ago in an area with bean bags for us to students to sit on. I also went the Science museum with my school in 2nd grade as well as the Denver Zoo. I also had sensory breaks at school and I also would have gluten free treats at school whenever there was a birthday celebration or other celebration. I also went to a friends birthday party from school at an arcade once. Also one time A girl named Ashley had a heart attack I was so young when it happened. I also would have Friday afternoon club with the class on Fridays just before the weekend.We also had two playgrounds. One time on one playground the slide got closed down after some one was hurt. One time I tried walking away a certain direction from the school and everyone shouted my name for doing that. I also was on the wall one time at recess for 10 minutes. One time I came to school in my Witches costume for Halloween I actually have a picture of me in this costume with ms Anderson in the photo with me she was my special Person in Colorado before I had my dog Henry. I also given my own special whistle from one of the staff members and I tried telling my parents but they were not happy with me blowing a whistle at school. I also would ride scooter boards when I was doing Occupational Therapy with Ms Michelle. One time I had stay inside at school for recess because it was 107 outside. One time I was coming from school in shorts because my mother it was going to be 70s but it ended up snowing instead. We also had Hawaiian theme party for me when we had my goodbye party for that school and i got ty Beanie baby fish which I still have and shower curtain and Hawaii themed trash can which i still have.

The other airports I have been to is. Denver international airport that was the airport me and my parents would go to when we were living in Colorado and we would fly there to straight to California what was nice was that California was only 1 hour behind Colorado when we lived there. I also have been to Atlanta airport I had that as a layover when I was going to Disney world with my parents in September 2005 and going home from our Disney Vacation as well as a layover on the Way to Oklahoma last October in 2021. I also have been to Salt Lake city and Minneapolis airports. I also have been to the Lihue and Hilo airports and the Sacramento Airport and the Will Rogers Airport and the Orlando Airport in Florida as well as the London Airport.

I have been to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. That is where I spent my last days in Hawaii with my parents in June 2009. There I would swim in the Tapa pool and Pardise pool and I also did pattle boats with my dad in the lagoon back in the day.

Tripler is where me and my Parents would go for our Specialty Medical Care and it was our military hospital when we lived in Hawaii before we started going to Walter Reed Military hospital in Maryland.

I remember Honolulu airport. That is where we would go when we were flying to California to see family what was nice was that me and my parents didn’t not have to deal with layovers. We also went to Honolulu airport to pick my grandparents when they visited us in Hawaii as well as my mother friend Kim one time when she came to visit us in Hawaii. My dad also went to the airport to travel to Iraq in 2007 when he was deployed and to South Korea in June 2008 and to DC in 2009 just before we left Hawaii for Maryland. We also flew out of Honolulu when we left for Maryland in June 2009. We also flew to Kauai in September 2007 from Honolulu airport as well as the big island in November 2007 with my grandparents when they visited us for thanksgiving that year.

Dad stationed there in 1958-61. We lived at the top of a hill. Down the hill was a gulley with wild boar , was the rumor. I took hula at age 6 and my mom mastered the ukulele in months. She won a MARTÍN ukulele in a contest on tv. We ate at a place called Jolly Rogers that had amazing hot fudge Sundays with a plastic sword. Those tall glasses that are typical of hot fudge Sundays. They also served amazing wontons with massive shrimp , inside them. Oh my…. I went to FT. Shafter Elementary school for 1st , 2nd, and 3rd grade. Glorious memories of Waikiki and Daimond head . Army brats reign supreme!
