This was the video I've been looking for thank you Just a quick question ❓ What year of iPad are you using to create this So many iPads I'm not sure which one to buy
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you found the video helpful 😊. To answer your question, I’m using a 2020 iPad Pro with the 1st generation Apple Pencil. It works really well for Procreate and is perfect for digital art! If you’re unsure which iPad to buy, I recommend looking for one that supports the Apple Pencil (1st or 2nd generation, depending on the model) and has enough storage for your projects. The iPad Pro models are great for creatives, but other models like the iPad Air are also excellent and more budget-friendly. Let me know if you need any more advice-I’d be happy to help!
Thank you so much❤
My pleasure!
Thank you so much! Straight to the point and easy to understand :)
90° angle would be straight up - you look like you're holding the pen at around 60° or less
Got it thanks!

This app is similar to hipaint, so I'll be using Procreate knowledge from now on for my hipaint app
When I resize the drawings to make a sticker sheet, I lose quality. Originally, I draw the drawings pretty big and then I just resize them to make them smaller. I draw on a 3,000 by 3,000 pixles canva, I have also tried 2,000 by 2,000. Is there a way around this? I have been searching online but have not found anything yet. How do I make the drawings smaller without losing quality? 😢
Hi! Is your canvas set up to be 300dpi? How are you resizing your drawings to make them smaller?
Hi, thank you so much for the quick response! Yes it is 300dpi. So what i do is i create the sticker on one canvas, and then i create a new canvas and i copy my sticker in there and resize it. I just do what you did, i click the mouse icon and resize it using the dots
Or you could just press duplicate and call it a day

Thanks so much for the feedback ❤️
Thank you!!!!!!!!
My pleasure :)
Thanks for this ❤
Thanks!
That is just so lovely! Thank you so much ❤️💜❤️
Thank you! I did this exact thing, except on a translucent sheet of vellum paper. Now I just put that between the art and watercolor surface. It's reusable. I store it inside a clear report sleeve. I replenish the shading as needed.
Thank you for the tutorial!!!
My pleasure!

So wonderful! 😊
hi! I love your video! Can I also use samsung tab 6 lite to do like this?
Hi! Thanks for your message :) You can do this on your Samsung using an app like Krita, Art Rage, Ibis Paint or Clip Studie Paint. However, the app I am using in the video is Procreate which can only be used on an iPad.
is there a way to do it like the magic eraser on photoshop? your technique isnt getting rid of my white background T_T
Hi there, Unfortunately, there is no specific magic eraser tool like in Photoshop. However, you can use the selection tool to select the background area. You can start with the automatic selection tool and refine it with the freehand tool. Once you have selected the background area, you can tap on your layer and select "clear" to remove it. If there are any remaining unwanted pieces of the background around the subject, you can use the Eraser tool to remove them. You can also use the Eraser tool to erase some of the top layer or middle layer to reveal the bottom layer partially. This way, you can achieve an effect where the background pattern shows through the clothing or skin. Finally, you can use the selection tool and adjust the Hue, Saturation, and Brightness to make your subject look more harmonious with the background. I hope this helps!
Wow
This is so helpful, thank you 😊

A doubt ? How is that ur pixels are not breaking? 😅
Thanks for the kind words about the collage! 😊 I make sure to import high-quality collage elements, and since I'm working digitally in Procreate, I can resize and adjust them without worrying about pixelation. 🎁 Bonus for our viewers: Get exclusive access to the Procreate collage elements used in this tutorial. How do we adjust for larger heads and jawlines and vice versa?
Hey there! Thanks for watching the video and for your great question. In the video, I focused on demonstrating the basic proportions and placement for a "typical" side profile. To adjust for larger features, remember these tips: Bigger Head: Simply start with a larger circle. This will give you more room to work with and automatically scale up all the features. Stronger Jawline: When you're drawing that line from the chin to the ear, angle it outward a bit more. This will create a wider, more prominent jaw. Larger Features in General: If you want larger eyes, a bigger nose, etc., just space them out a bit more within the face. Think of it like spreading out toppings on a bigger pizza! The most important thing is to keep practicing and experimenting. The more you draw, the better you'll get at adjusting proportions to capture unique faces!
@@artsydee thank you for your expert advice. Great teacher.
