No one is in hell fire right now. That's the beauty of it. The teaching that people are burning in fire right now and will continue to burn for the ceaseless eons of existence goes against character of the Creator. There are two resurrections. The resurrection of life. The resurrection of damnation. Only one has eternal life. The other is death... eternal death. That's what hellfire will do. Produce death of sin. It was prepared for the devil and his angels, and anyone else who follows after him. But no one is burning right now. Isaiah chapter 33 tells us that those who will dwell in "everlasting burnings" are those who walk righteously and turn their face from seeing of evil. The righteous. Righteous do by the blood of a lamb! How far will destroy sin and sinner as well? As lucifer and his angels. They will be burned up... be an Ash heap. Be as though they never were. They will be consumed. This cannot go on forever because it (hellfire) takes place in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of a lamb (Revelation 14:10). The loving Creator, the Father Himself, will not continuously burn sinners for the ceaseless ages of redemption. The world will be purged and the new earth will be created. The teaching that people go straight to heaven or hell when they die is unbiblical. The lion of the tribe of judah, it's coming.

A better translation of Genesis 1:1 is “In the beginning of God’s preparing the heavens and earth…”. He did not “create” the heavens and earth. This is a modern translation. This kind of talk is Apologetics 101. It presupposes univocality. The Bible was not created as a single tome. It is an amalgamation of writings compiled over hundreds of years by many, many different people. And even today what is included, omitted, and “translated” is renegotiated time again based on different views and struggles for power. The greatest miracle is how anyone can believe this drivel. 😂

Completely nonsensical argument. Firstoff, acknowledgement that morality is subjective is not equal to an absence of morality. We can still judge things as good or just or the other way around. Simply put, there is no such thing as objective morality. Ironically even in the Christian worldview, objective morality doesn’t exist, at least not here on earth. C. S. Lewis was right about the problem of evil being a bad argument against the existence of any gods though.

How can we trust our own thinking? Quite easy: consistency and results. Ironically involving a God doesn’t solve this problem, because, how do you know God did a good job creating our brain? How do you know he didn’t mess up?

I’ve seen a Eucharistic Miracle but I doubt this Protestant would have the faith to believe. Google the Eucharistic Miracle of Santerem Miracles have a double edge sword sometimes. Miracles can cause some people to just think of God as a miracle worker and that hinders their growth in intimacy with God.

You’re using your brain-an evolved organ shaped by natural processes-to make the argument that belief in God is necessary for reasoning. But if the reasoning process itself is shaped by a divine being, then why would we trust any thought that leads to any conclusion, including the belief in God? Isn’t that a bit of a circular argument? Essentially, you’re asking me to trust my reasoning only if I believe in God, but you’re also using your reasoning to argue for that belief. So, what makes your reasoning any more trustworthy than mine?
