Hello, friends! On this channel, I will be sharing my adventures - camping, hiking and exploring!
I am a Southern Arizona native but I moved to New Mexico a few years ago. The main reason I started this channel was to show my family back home what I do on the weekends but also because I wanted to show my presence on TH-cam as a female hiker and camper. I couldn't find many videos that show women enjoying the outdoors in New Mexico. So, here we are!
I hope you enjoy my videos!

Fall camping at Capilla Peak Campground
Hi friends,
In today’s video, we travel to the top of a mountain to make a yummy pie iron banana split and enjoy the views. This is a small campground, only 5-6 sites, but definitely worth the drive up.
Enjoy!

Hi friends, Finally hit a bucket list item, camping at Rockhound State Park. It was honestly one of the cleanest and most quiet campgrounds I’ve ever been to (at least it was on a Thursday night), and I will definitely be back again. Thanks for watching!

Hi friends, My brother and I had to do some camping during our mini vacation and he ended up finding this gorgeous spot at Cross Ranch State Park right on the Missouri River. Highly recommend this park if you’re ever in the area. It was quiet, very clean & they even had a little informational museum & gift shop. We had a wonderful time. Thanks for watching!

Hi friends, This weekend would have been my first camping trip of the year however, things didn’t work out but I ended up exploring a place I’ve never been before instead! I had such a peaceful time exploring the North Loop of the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, located just 100 miles south of Albuquerque. Hi friends, This trip was life-changing. I enjoyed every minute of it, even when we struggled catching trains & securing accommodations each night. It was definitely a physical challenge, every part of my body hurt by the end, but I learned so much about myself and traveling with my brother, it was worth every second. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for watching!

Our favorite campground! In the Spring when the California Poppies are in bloom it is supposed to be pretty! Nice video!
Just found your channel and subbed. I have a 4Runner too and really like Martha's channel so many different ideas and tips. That is a really nice state park, I've driven through there but didn't have the time to camp there. Have you been to Aguirre Spring Campground? It is absolutely stunning, my favorite place to camp in NM.
@@tinabeane thanks for watching & subscribing! I’ve got some more 4Runner camping videos coming up. The cot makes a world of difference. I enjoy Martha’s DIY projects, so many ideas! I’ve heard of that campground, might be a winter camp for me!
Whats the Temps there right now?
It’s in the 50’s at night and high 80’s during the day! (Fahrenheit)
Excellent! I love the way New Mexico has such a beautifully diverse geography. Right at about 10:56 after you made the "tight turn" there is a mountain(s) on the horizon. Do you per chance know the name or location of that distant mountain?
It might be Castle Rock. It’s located in the Florida Mountain Wilderness area in southern Deming. Thanks for watching!
How much is the room for 2 nights?
@@dcv9460 my brother paid for it so I’m not sure how much
I had a stray cat climb on my engine once. I had to be at work at 5 am I never heard a cat scream like this one. There was chunks of fur flying out of the engine compartment followed by the cat which ran away as fast as it could
@@ralphsmith8682 I was nervous because I’ve had a mouse climb into my engine before and die, that’s a very unpleasant smell…
That bagel looks so bomb
Ok be safe out there ❤️
Where is this place ? And Why would you camp out there alone 🧐
@@MigdaliaQuinones-p4i this is in the Santa Fe National Forest north of Pecos, NM. I have a satellite messenger if I need it. I’ve never felt unsafe anywhere.
Hope the XL pie iron works your next trip👍
Foothills are so ugly. The sandias on the backside is where its at.
Get you some reflexive stuff for windows girl! Stay safe
@@Momshobbies24 working on it!
Oh and love your 4 legged baby absolutely adorable 😍
Love the campsite and especially the water😊
What a cute little campsite. Looks cool from the heat in Taos I would imagine.
Great video, can't wait to explore my new backyard!
Hello from Arizona
Bean there loved it ❤ Did you try the Guadalajara grill??
@@davidpintor4699 I don’t go to restaurants because I have my dog with me so I didn’t get a chance to try that one. Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed our trip!
@@rynezeek5831 me too!!
That was a really nice trip! Thank you for coming us and visiting me.
Quite a different landscape in North Dakota !
Hi girl sorry I haven’t checked in, I lost my dad last monday 😢 I know that back road you took to get to caga del rio? I deliver oxygen to the buckman water treatment plant just past the dog park lol Good to see you ❤
@@davidpintor4699 sorry to hear about your dad passing, that can’t be easy. Hopefully my videos bring you some light. Be well!
Congratulations on your new car!! You deserve your adventure vehicle 🎉
Thanks! I can’t wait to go on more adventures!
I'm headed there this weekend! Thanks for showing your trip!
I always recommend Villanueva! I loved it there!
What a nice camping spot. Aside from backpacking the San Pedro Parks Wilderness area. I have only stayed on the other end of the Jemez. Enjoy your new 4Runner. I can imagine you were a bit traumatized breaking down. That is one thing I think about from time to time when I go solo camping on my ATV. In various parts of NM. I usually am extremely secluded and I hope it never happens. Take care of your foot and enjoy the outdoors! Life is great in the outdoors.
My parents got me a satellite GPS that I can use to message them which gives me huge peace of mind. This was a beautiful area & I’m glad I made the trip. Thanks for watching!
My biggest problem lol always forgetting something. Good to see you again ❤
Thanks for watching!
Like the narration. Beautiful area❤
I've lived in RR since 2011 and fish at Fenton each year, but have yet to camp there. I'm hoping to get some nights up there this summer.
I love you.I love your spirit, I love your enthusiasm, I love your determination to get out. I love you but for all the wrong reasons. Why was Eleanor crying?
Welcome home
Cool thanks for sharing!
I think you're awesome! You did great! My husband and I tried to find the Eye and didn't find it. Maybe we'll try again!
Thank you! I honestly thought the eye would be easier to find! I'll try again another time.
Poor Pug seems to get less attention.
The black doxie is my dog, the pug is my dad's. So it may appear I'm giving more attention to the dog I own.
Great video, love the narration 👍
Thanks for watching :)
Persevere Eleanore, it will be worthwhile.
Japan always be with you!
Superb 😊
What a trip! Awesome views of Japan. They really bounced back from WW2!
Such a great trip! I'm so glad you came out here.
Best trip of my life!!! Thank you for being my personal guide and making it such a memorable experience! I had a great time :)
Nice, I love all the NM parks so far! in my upcoming trip to the west, my first scheduled stop is going to be at Valley of fire campground near Carrizozo, at least for a couple days! I just may have to get the NM parks pass, theres so many good places! wow, Wagyu burgers, that sounds great! Used to be a chef a fine dining place and we used to make Wagyu burgers with grilled shiitake mushrooms & Maytag Bleu Cheese, oh it was the bestest! haha,Thanks, enjoyed it, subbed and gonna watch all your videos!
Oliver Lee is definitely in my top favorite state parks so far, the views and sunset were top tier! I have driven through Valley of Fires campground before but haven't made it down for an overnighter yet but it's a great area, I hope you enjoy! I LOVE bleu cheese burgers, they're my fave! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Thanks, Im looking for good dog friendly places to stay, this looks like one for sure!
Applaud you for getting out like that in spite of the weather. I hike regularly in the Sandias as I live close by. Even tho I wear a hat like you I will also carry a toboggan hat in my pack during the fall and winter months to cover my ears. I also typically carry a second jacket, pants, shirt and socks in the pack too. This is for when it gets really windy and cold then I layer up. I honestly love the western foothills in the winter after a fresh snow. But kudos for doing what you did!
Thanks for the location information. Your camera did a great job of picking up the colors.
Thank you!
There's 99 trails in the vicinity of Cloudcroft. I hope you return and enjoy them. Look up Lincoln National Forest, Sacramento Ranger Division. I've enjoyed using Lynn Melton's online trail guide and put the gpxs in my gps so I decrease my chances of wandering off the trail.
Turning back doesn't mean you are a quitter. It means you have calculated the risks and they are too high on this particular hike. Many people miscalculate how hard the Sandias are. I hike the mountains three hours away and often walk out a set distance then walk back. 2000' rise is a lot. A lot. Congrats. I bet you learned a lot from that hike. If you are wearing a jacket your pupper might need one too.
Sooo pretty!
You made my day :) maybe start doing some voiceover to share a bit more about the hike and stuff :)
That's a great idea! I just got a new camera/phone so I'm still playing around with all the features. Thanks for watching!
Good morning ☀️ Thank you for taking me with you.
Good evening Eleanore & Friends ! What a beautiful trail & such vibrant colors ! Thank you for sharing this lovely video ! Stay safe & keep smiling !
