Love those trucks. Wonder if they were new in 1985?
They look like 85 models
I remember those Telecom FJ55 Landcruisers
Great footage from the old days !
Agreed 👍 👍 👍
Great to see all those old 1980s rigs
My old poppy was a roadtrain driver during this times. The hours he'll go on about his amazing stories are interesting and amazing
Long long
Perfect
C'est cool
There is no doubt! Trucks are an addiction!
Old School Occa
The men that silently built Australia 🇦🇺
How time flies. Those helicopter shots were just awesome
Does anyone know who the lady singing is?
Total respect for these guys !!
Mack and Kenworth best trucks!!!
Kenworth and western star, Mack have Volvo components. Volvo are fucked!
Machinery and agriculture With Johndeerefarmer 8r This was back in the good old days mate they (mack) had nothing to do with Volvo or any other company back then. These were real pure Macks! These old superliners were built for this sort of work.
Tim Scott oh for sure! The old bangers were tanks, but the newer granites aren’t much chop.
Machinery and agriculture With Johndeerefarmer 8r I agree, all Macks now days aren't even Macks in my opinion, just junk.
Tim Scott . I agree. They are just Americanised Volvos
sounds like its nerrated by John Wood
Haha love this. 6.56 "rig like this $150,000" I wish I could buy that truck for $150,000 today and put nearly 1,000L of fuel for only $500. How things change.
The fuel quality wasn't the same.
Good old TAA supporting the outback at that time, went broke
52 cents per litre, oh the old days
Your welcome. Thanks for watching.
Magic stuff, thanks for posting it
Yeh, and I helped build Emerald Springs Roadhouse.
10-4 I'm glad you've enjoyed all of it.
What a bloody top video. The old footage is always the best the way trucking used to be,you don't see much of that anymore.Thanks.
pitty no one has the torrent of the actual produced video. cheers
I'm glad I've made you happy.

900 odd litres of diesel for $500 odd haha back in the day much
@Poolsscott400 And they still do it successfully.
@TheDarkFalcon 10-4, mate!
Thanks for the upload, I had been looking all over the place for something more modern but never found anything, but this did alright even if it was a bit out of date :)
@TheDarkFalcon I don't know either. I think it's my fault, I haven't fully understood the system.
Thanks for the uploads, but your links to the next video are wrong, you link to the end of the next clip... instead of the start... I dont know why.
