Shame shame shame, you should never carrot top a palm, it shows your either lazy or don't have a clue, because palms look Terrible when you trim them like a telephone pole with leaves. And don't tell me it's for the hurricanes cause that's bs too, how do you think they survive naturally when people aren't there to "protect them from hurricanes"? I hate it when people do this to beautiful palms.

like the other guy said, homeowner likes them overtrimmed thats their right. Its their tree and they can do as they please. Its funny how everyone on TH-cam is more concerned about overtrimming. 99 percent of the palms we trim are for aesthetics versus the health of the tree. You can preach until your blue in the face about why palms should not be over trimmed, but at the end of the day, customer gets what they pay for. Its just like when the Dr says to eat right and exercise more, does anyone listen? Nope, they do what they want.

@@justpalms9978 ya know you wouldn't believe how many times I have heard from customers that they tell their "professional" tree trimmers what they want done which more times than not is the 9to3 position, but the "professionals" don't listen and trim the hell out of the palms because they don't want to come back 2-3 times a year like they should. It's not just city workers its residential workers too. Then Karen's like yourself come after me for stating the facts.🤷‍♂️

I have had mines for one year already and never used it in a pool but question.. You have had it for two years already from what I can tell does it still work? One more question do you think it’s bad to leave it plugged in all day while listening to it since it is a Bluetooth speaker? I heard it can be bad for the battery by leaving it plugged in all day

My cousin loves it she really wants me to give it to her but I won’t LOL and thank you for the advice I would not leave it plugged in. doesn't look like it. lots of space where the truck was parked to drop the tree and the tree looked pretty straight and not a heavy leaner so i was wondering why spend the money on the lift unless you already had it for other projects and this was the best site to do a demo video.

You took so many branches off while the tree was standing... Why not take the time to pluck each individual pine needle before sawing? Dude, section the tree in much larger sections like 4th's, 5th's or perhaps 6th's, then disect it when it's on the ground.

No one heard of 'notching trees trunks' to get the to fall where you want? What if that saw got 'hung up' in the middle of that straight cut? Not the way I was taught to cut trees. Just saying. Notching will greatly help with where your 'piece' goes as well as lessen the chance the saw blade gets hung up in a straight saw across cut. WOW...you were lucky.

Just rented one today from Home Depot. Used it to take down a 50' oak tree. Worked Great! A little shaky when fully extended but got used to that after about 30 minutes. Fully limbed the tree down to 10' then took the trunk down from the ground. Never took a tree that size down before nor used a boom lift. If you have good common sense and carefully plan each fall you can save yourself a bunch of money. Cost was 300 for 24 hours vs 1200 for service to do the work. Took 4 hours to take it to the ground. Good judgement is the key here.
