Many facts way over-hyperbolized or flatly incorrect. For example; there were NO bruises found on Henry via the investigators - that's a fabrication invented by Schechter. Schechter is not a great source for accurate details- he fabricated too much in Deviant. [ "Augusta thought X..." We took from a few online sources for this one, most of it seemed to stay consistent with each other, here's a few of those below. Don’t ask me why I searched for this case this evening. I was a Newport News police officer when this happened. I responded to the Voss’s home the morning after the murder when she called to report him missing. I took exactly 0 missing adult reports during my four years as a cop and as she was explaining why he wasn’t there, my sixth cop sense kept going off. I told her I was going out to my car to grab some forms to fill out. I called the acting sergeant and told him I just didn’t feel right about what she was telling me. The detail about the truck being found in a strip mall is inaccurate. It was an office park behind a bank. My friend Rich found him. I’d called him to go search the area thinking he’d gonna drinking and passed out in his truck somewhere.
