    I was natural for 9 years. I just relaxed my hair 2 weeks ago. I could never retain length when natural. I relaxed hair with mizani sensitive scalp butter blend and use the same neutralizing shampoo as you. I love my hair now.

I plan to slowly cut all the hair past the line of demarcation due to the breakage & heat damage. I worked in a salon for years, as stylist, this is a pro method. I didn't need to relax the heat damage portion because the only way to get rid of it is to cut it. I just didn't want to pixie cut my hair because I love a good ponytail!

For regular washes I use Etae', Biosilk, Shea Moisture (Manuka honey only), sometimes Aussie. I kinda rotate. But the products that go with the relaxer are amazing but a bit pricey.
