I did this same DIY Project recently. Extra step i did was to sprinkle little thin layer of sand on top of the self levelling sealant while it’s still tacky. This will allow the sealed area to blend with the surrounding concrete’s color. It looked much better 👍🏼

Nice basic fountain idea... Rather than using the black plastic pot on top, use a decorative ceramic plant pot. You can also drill a hole in a ceramic bowl to top the fountain... Just be careful when drilling ceramic as the ceramic can be very sharp. Be careful of that pump too; it doesn't appear to be for outdoor use.
