Day in the Life of a Gap Year Student | eating out, gym, journaling
มุมมอง 3612 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey guys! I hope you enjoy my video about one of the many days during my gap year. This one happens to be in Manchester, but each day varies with lots of different things I do everyday! #gapyear #univeristy #manchester #gapyearmedic #dayinthelifegapyear
Wow this is actually so interesting I was gonna be a doctor and yeah but which uni or place should I go after sixth form any recommendations?!!!
How important are GCSEs to Imperial? I got 8 7s and 2 5s (my 5s were in French and Business studies) Do I have a chance at Imperial?
Imperial say that you just need a majority of 7s, 8s and 9s. They'll care a lot more about stuff after college like work experience, a level grades, volunteer work, research, personal statement, etc
@@achannel4485 thx :)

aw thank you sm girlie🥺🫶🏼
'PromoSM' ☹️
So for the interview do you physically go to the University?
According to current information on the website accessed today, Imperial will be running a 2 part process, with the first being online-asynchronous and the second, face to face for 2024-25 admission. My experience was fully face to face MMI style.
@@nurgecer i think the second one is online as well
Very interesting and informative video!!...thank you for sharing your daily routine with us non medical ppl. Love it!!👌 Xx
I’m impressed-looks like you’re really enjoying the whole experience and making the most of it. Quite insightful the lab work and how our prospective doctors get trained up.
thank you🫶🏼
Love your daily routine ..... interesting to see how your day progresses throughout the day. ❤
Really interesting video, and I spotted the Arsenal top at the end 😅
Sounds like tough work!
Really informative, although I don’t study medicine, it was interesting to see the application process to ICSM 😅
Glad you liked it!
How long would you recommend each response to be? Cuz I heard that all interviewers have prepared follow up questions for every 5 min station, so I'm not sure (maybe like talk for 2 minutes initially and hope for a follow up question?)
Hey, sorry I just saw this! Yeah I’d say talk for 2mins - any longer is probably a bit too long and you can fall into a place where you may ramble. They sometimes add follow up questions if relevant but normally they stick with the set questions for all students so it’s fair for everyone. Hope that helps :)
Nice video, didn't apply to UCL but still insightful considering I've only experiened one interview myself so far!!
Thank you! Glad it helped. I’ve got an Imperial College one on the way!
Great video 😀 Did you apply deferred entry, if you're currently on a gap year? Also what med school are you going to?
Hey! no, I didn't apply for deferred entry. I'm currently at a different UK medical school :)
Thanks for this! This was very helpful
Very informative video 😌
Thank you!
