I did not see the options on the current install as you show them. I think the thing is that it would be good to have my hard-wired lan machine do the dirty work and then just T-fer the files locally so I am not downloading it twice. I get 300Mbps on the net, but only about 100 on the deck, so...... DL once, use twice.

1:40 you brushed right over this, how do you sign into spotify in gaming mode?? It will say open your browser to log in but if i do that in desktop, it doesnt transfer my log in information to gaming mode.

So far this worked for me. It opens browser Fullscreen straight to Netflix. I couldn't ask for more honestly unless it was a native app for Linux

oh my god thank you. dragon age inquisition broke two weeks ago, when i was in the middle of finishing the dlc and RIGHT before the new game releases (after a ten year wait 😭). watched the ending online and trucked ahead, but inquisition never fixed itself. nothing online has helped me in 2 weeks and my mind is so small with tech lmao. thank you so much, i can finally play my game again 🙏

I didnt dare to try this as i didnt want to lose my save file. After trying all day, changing proton to 9 finally worked for me. I had issues with steamdeck ingame my extern controller (nintendo switch pro controller) buttons were not working properly and constantly changing input. After switching proton compatibility on to proton 9 (and proton experimental both worked) it worked fine for me

This is the worst performing section of the game I have seen by far after about 20 hours of gameplay. Once I got into the open world I was averaging 45fps with XeSS, FSR3, and dynamic resolution turned on. Dungeons are touching 60fps at times. Overall I'd say Forbidden West is extremely playable on the deck with acceptable sacrifice to visual clarity.
