The Zero is of course faster, but at least launch the 125 properly... You have to rev mich higher the bike and feed the clutch.

Aprilia is sure asking a lot for its 125 bike. $9k is too much for such a small engine. A Zero S 7.2 is going for just under $13k new.

Zero bikes also have microtransactions. Im not paying $200 to unlock more battery life, another $200 for heated grips. You spend 20k + on a bike and then have to spend more to unlock features that are already on the bike. Companies like that are disgusting. I hope Zero bikes go bankrupt

Now if you try a race to 51 miles on highway Zero would be DNF. I own and love my 22 Zero FX but range vs speed deficit is REAL.

No surprise...Electric motor has more torque and has it istantly, so usually there is no competition on drag race with a combustion engine of the same HP. Maybe I'm wrong...but to be really fair Zero 11kW should be compared with a combustion engine motorcycle of 33 kW (not Aprilia RS 125 11kW), Zero site itself explains that: There are different licencing criteria for electric motorcycles in the EU, unlike internal combustion engine motorcycles which are rated on max power electric motorcycles are rated and homologated on continuous power. Continuous power is defined as the amount of power the motor is capable of sustaining continuously for 30-minutes, according to UNECE regulation No 85. Zero FXS Peak power :44 hp (33 kW) - Zero FXS Maximum Continuous : 15 hp (11 kW)

The zero is faster than my bike and I smoke 750cc bikes all day ...lol a 125cc against a low-end zero isn't even a race for the zero. My bike is 10k and as you can see in the profile pic it's a sport bike and the 11k zero kills my bike .. I want the 24k zero sr or better yet the 35k energetica ego of which is not much more expensive and twice the speed.
