There is another way, a more profound way, to the attempt to know a physical Universe that is impossible to know and understand completely: as our pastor said after we heard Sister Delio's poem at service, it is Faith and Love. PS: It does not provide an answer to the ultimate question but it does provide a direction towards which we can confidently continue our individual journeys.

Someone sent me the because we were having a religious debate. This is a tedious lecture that jumps around with the definition of god. It tries to give validity to itself by name dropping scientists and saying what they believe, calling out quotes without context and not actually showing any studies or experiments that aid their point (whatever that it). As if scientists believing in god makes believing in god science. Why do I keep getting myself in these conversations and who actually buys into this crap?

Ilia Delhi speaks my native tongue. I LOVE her and her message.

"Human knowledge developing to "all-encompassing" ceases to be naturalistic." Is interiority natural? Well, I can ask, Is there any experience beyond mere imagination (Believing Primates)? We´ve got testimonies of "supernatural-non-natural" or "transpersonal" healings and "NDE-Return from Death Exp" with medical corroboration, and historical events from Jesus´ heritage, life, mission, and message, and legacy.

If G-d is everything, and infinite, obviously including the world, I don’t know how the divine enters the world “in human form” as if from somewhere else, because there cannot be any outside. How can G-d become “other than G-d”, when there is nothing but G-d? There is clearly a LOT more to the inside that anyone has ever dreamed. The question for Christianity that emerges from this idea of wholeness, is how canJesus be different from anyone else, except insofar as he understood his oneness with the Father in a way that most of us do not. In our talk here we stop just short of what seems inevitably to be the conclusion of this idea: that we are not “ entwined” with G-d.... we ARE G-d. Thus, we cling to duality: there’s G-d and then there us. The Upanishads and Buddhism made the leap more than a thousand years ago. Still, I realize there are plausible arguments for duality and pluralism- “we are cells in the body of G-d” etc. I don’t know. I’m not making an argument here, I am actually asking these questions.

I have often asked, “what am I saved from?” Could it be from my own self-centered ego? That could be true, although we all need a certain amount of ego. Perhaps that expands on the scriptural theme of salvation for those in need of a physician, and not for the healthy, as Jesus proclaimed. Such a great meeting going on here! God gave us brains as well as souls. Love you all!

This conference was amazing. Ilia's presentation was particularly enlightening. Her understanding of Teilhard's work coupled with modern science is evident. I was a virtual participant and her spirit was still palpable. She speaks here about the collective energy that she helped to initiate. In a 13.8 billion year universe, life begets life. New wholes are being formed. Every minute. Sign up, sign in, tune in, get turned on.

To me, it is a coming of the Christ Consciousness to the awareness of all people - it is, as she says, God waiting for us to wake up!

So, WHY aren't women preaching???? Ilia Delio is a woman, an enlightened soul, a nun who is eloquent in sharing her exploration of the human relationship with God. Pulpits around the world should be giving her the opportunity to broaden our understanding of the 'Christ' event and its meaning to our experience of Advent in the liturgical cycle of our Church. It is truly tragic that she is not.
