Holy hells you saved me, my new dell G16 was overheating so much without me even running anything intensive, but I tried what you said and it went from 70-80 c down to 60-67 c almost instantly and the outside only feels the normal amount of warm and not scorching hot like it was. I couldn't understand how a brand new laptop with barely anything running was making my laptop so hot, but yeah this video helped a ton. Thanks so much!

Just to be aware and safe. Be sure to get your Bitlocker code for the primary boot drive saved not on the laptop, esp. if you didn't regiester w/ a Microsoft account. Changing the Turbo mode kicked off the Bitlocker and requred me to enter my recovery code. Fortunately, I have all that and was able to get it to boot. Even so, yes, disabling the Turbo reduced my peak temps which was causing my laptop to "blue screen" if left on.

I had the issue with my Dell XPS 9315 randomly shutting down. I followed these instructions (CPU Turbo deactived) and it solved the problem. I assume it was the Turbo that was causing my system to overheat.

Is there a way to interact with tampermonkey script via a menu or hotkeys? What's the typical way a user can adjust real-time without editing the script/reloading the page? For example, I've tried installing the greasyfork script 'HTML5 Video Playing Tools', yet I don't see any menu/options on actually using it! (The script shows enabled under the TamperMonkey Icon, yet there's no options underneath it, and nothing happens when pressing hotkeys I'd like to find a script (or write a custom one) that when I press a key, the speed automatically changes on the video being played (without reloading the page). I know YT (and extensions) already have controls for playback speeds, but I'd like to customize it.

It is possible to change paid scripts to bypass the payment system or access premium features without paying?

Don't buy Dell. really. Go with Asus or smg or apple idk. Had two xps, they are beautiful but pure pain and issues even for a power user

hell, i installed python 3.10.6 with install on path. Yes it added to path on environment variable but when i check on cmd it not detected. Also when run python it call microsft store to download python but if i run py it show >>> where i can write syntax / code at it.

Cannot Thank you enough my man! This is a real cure right there. I use my XPS 15 9530 for sw development with Ubuntu installed. It is so confusing when I run terminal, Slack and maybe couple of tabs in Firefox and this thing blows the fans on 5K rpm with solid 100 degrees Celsius on some cores, being hot like a pancake. With these "features" off I am barely hitting over 2K rpm on the fans (barely audible) with 55 Celsius of maximum temp. I will test tomorrow with dual screen setup running 4K monitor also serving as a power dock, but already I am feeling this is how it should be with this powerhouse of a laptop, which is Brand new on top. Thank You! And shame on Dell and Intel for putting such clearly marketing driven "performance" features that only ruin Not cheap hardware.

But I guess many would need to do a double-take to understand: "In order for the extension to activate you must have tailwindcss installed and a Tailwind config file named tailwind.config.{js,cjs,mjs,ts} in your workspace."

Don't buy xps laptops for gaming. The cooling systems in them are piss poor snd the bios is even worse. Even with a cooling pad and dropping clocks significantly, its inevitably going to thermal throttle. Not trying to bash. Trying to save you money .
