A few stolen images of a Northen Tamandua in the Colombian forest.
Northern Tamanduas are found in Central and South America.
They can measure up to 77cm not including the tail and weight up to 7kg.
They spend half of their time on trees eating ants, termites or honey.
When on land they walk on the back of their hands to avoid cutting themselves with their powerful claws.
They can produce a foul smelling secretion which earned them the name of... "Stinker of the forest".
