Tactical decision making and game understanding is the main difference between an average footballer and a professional. In the internet, there is a huge amount of videos explaining different technical skills, but rarely decision making, even though decision making is more important. So here at FootyTactics, we share our insightful knowledge about footballers and their decision making. We can promise that in each video there will be at least one new thing you learn as the information we reveal isn't very basic, but instead advanced. Most coaches in the world aren't aware of the things we mention, so watching this channel I can guarantee you will be steps ahead of your teammates in training and matches.
How Messi Finds the Weakness in Defenses By Scanning
This channel provides the goal of teaching aspiring footballers the insights into how the best players in the world actually dominate the game. Many people think it's their technical ability and touch, when in reality it's their IQ and game understanding. The internet doesn't teach game understanding much, which is why this channel was created.

You just earned a sub G, this video was great and the tactical analysis were on point! I had one request, Please bring a video for defenders, I am a Center Back and there are very few videos of defending tactics and defender analysis.
Thanks! I'll look into it.
toni kroos please...
@@shubhayanpan6889 great one I will definitely be doing one of bim
Thank you so much❤
You're welcome 😊
Calling genius would be disrespectful. Nothing he does is genetic, he's just very good at finding the way to win and it just so happened that to win he needed to learn this skill. He's like a video game character collecting more and more powers as it progresses.
Ik he is just special
amazing analysis bro, can i join u as an editor for free ?
We aren’t hiring anyone right now but if a spot opens up I’ll reach out
@@footytactics-b6s i want to just work with u out of passion. just that only nothing as
Bro can do it without vision 🤩☠️🐐👌🏾.
He’s too good
Messi's off-ball movement is out of this world.
Yes
When did Messi start doing this? I mean if I did this in a match, my teammates will scream at me for walking. Plus, running all the time while analyzing would be very challenging. So did Barca planned for him to do this or did he just kept doing it until it worked?
He started walking a lot starting in 2017. Barca didn’t plan for Messi to do this because this is almost impossible to do in a live match. It’s just Barcelona know Messi is their best player and they let him have a free role. My advice is to don’t listen to your teammates if they complain and try it out
Thank you for the ball knowledge bro! I’ll definitely try this out.
Would love one on thomas muller and his understanding of spaces in between.
Yes that’s a very good idea his runs in behind are special
Vini jr
Vini jr
Metavision!!!
YES
love the video. Keep it coming
Appreciate the support!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Could you make drills and exercises on how to do this ?
You can’t train this. The only way to learn this is playing matches and watching football matches very closely.
He's the most effective player of all time. You should prob do one of xavi, iniesta or busquets. The holy trinity
Yes next I will be doing all three and may make it a series because they have so much to learn from each other
That'll be brilliant. Maybe you could also analyse each of them Oop(defensively) which I feel all of them are great and underrated particularly xavi. And busi was an all time defender, probably 2010s Barca's best one, and the best DM of all time
The Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God are the only and true holy trinity
pirlo next maybe?
I need it
great work
Make a video on enzo Fernandez and florian wirtz
When scanning what should we actually look for
What I said in the video the more u watch Messi and notice how he reacts to certain defenses you will be able to identify patterns
It's like what xavi said in an interview: "I'm always looking for space." It's all about space and time.
His only problem is consistency, injuries and personal problems
Yes he needs to stay healthy more
If Barca can keep Lamine, Pedri, Raphinha, Olmo and Cubarsi fit during the 2nd half of the season then there is no cieling for this team BUT, they need to play as many games as they can together so that they can develop their relationships with each other(chemistry)
Yes I totally agree
Good player but ultimately a luxury player at the end of the day. Barcelona played its best games and performances this season without him ironically. And when Gavi gets back to his best, olmo shouldn't start over him. And besides barca shouldve gotten amadou onana who is better, more consistent and solves a more urgent need.
Yes good point
What a player but sadly barca can't register him😢😭😭
Ik he’s very good
First inshallah
Congrats!
"Magnificent analysis! I wish you could make a comparison between Pedri and Bellingham, differentiating the difference between the two of them."
I'd love to do a comparison between them, great idea!
Calling it a master class when they lost is an insult to the winning side...Atleti
Well tbf Barca played better but were wasteful
The team let down pedri
Yes
Poor guy... he played alone
Yes he didn’t have much support
/pedri/ and /lɛvandovski/
Love them both
can i know what website you are using to watch the full match
Soccerfullmatch
Is this the first time flick used classic 4123 this season? Cause they used 4231 before
Yes I believe it is they may have used it once or twice before but I doubt it.
Why was the guy in a yellow shirt following Pedri 🎉 around?
That was the ref mate
Pedri masterclass. I do sometimes wish he would improve his finishing or longshot. He gets into so many good positions only to sky the ball or shoot it directly at the keeper. Unfortunately his assists are never finished so either we get a better finisher or he starts finishing himself.
Yes I agree he needs to be more decisive
Great video keep posting next video Mo Salah
I'll keep that in mind for the next video!
Amazing. What are you watching the game on?
Soccerfullmatch.com or Footballia
He's learnt a hard lesson.
Can you make a video analysis of Hansi Flick's tactics
Yes I can consider that for a future video
Some suggestions, to avoid copyright (I´m no expert. Just my thoughts): -Diffuminate every logo you can. -Avoid any type of sound from the transmission
I will keep that in mind for future videos, thanks for the advice!
midfield masterclass
Yes very good performance
Can you make video for Martin Zubimendi please
Yes I was thinking about him as he’s class at CDM it will either be him or Gravenberch
Yeah zubumendi
Yamal, Pedri, Cubarsi so far the most talented players in Barça Thr fact pedri completely changed his way of life adter muscular injury against athletic Bilbao to live healthier, do pilates is too good for football 😊
Yes after the injury in the Euros Pedri has been something different
@footytactics-b6s nope it was after San Mamés injury where he got injured after doing a Simple pass. If you remember, 10' before that, De Jong got his ankle injury after a jump Euro injury was a knock by kroos, has nothing to do with previous injuries, he had nothing to do to prevent it
Such a good analysis, please keep em coming
Thank you for the kind words mate
your videos are great do you work as analyst
antonee robinson vid?🇺🇸
I want to do a left back so I could potentially do him but i may be a couple weeks as the schedule is already set.
please look at Lewa's movements in this clips such a smart player
I can make an analysis on him soon
very good video
Thanks for the kind words
And apply in a real game
How can I use this information
Well when you’re playing a Low-Block you can do everything I talked about in the video. Start high with the midfielder. Then try to put him in difficult positions to create space for you or your team. Like in the video Pedri’s moving and pulling De Paul constantly, and sometimes when De Paul leaves Pedri he’s able to receive.
