As an entrepreneur in practically any field of business including real estate, communication is vital to your survival and inevitably how much success you achieve.
Every morning I spend the first two or 3 hours of the day just talking to people and coordinating tasks.
To be a successful wholesaler, creative investor, or ultimate matchmaker for profitable business relationships it’s crucial that effective communication be at the forefront of your endeavors.
You must be an incredible manager and facilitator to each deal whether in real estate or otherwise in order to both see the deal through it’s individual pipeline to fruition, and handle any major ‘speedbumps’ that may slow the progress or kill the deal.
I haven’t always been the most reliable communicator and it’s come back to bite me every single time.
You see, when you don’t communicate effectively, you significantly reduce the chance of anything you do in business being successful.
Even worse though, is damaging the relationships with those in your business network due to lack of communication.
That’s even worse because deals will come and go, but the relationships you build in order to do those deals, and more in the future, is what true wealth consists of.
Being able to make a few phone calls and get right back on your feet after a setback comes solely from the relationships aspect of effective communication.
Not communicating often comes in a package with procrastination as well, creating a deadly combination.
