Thanks, very helpful. I'm new to Shaheen and have always wondered how people seem to do this move so fast while not even being in crouch. Now I know that you can buffer the input during moves!
Any tips on how to do the first part which is 3 snkcance fc df2? I can't seem to do it, so what I do instead is fc 4,1. That connects, but fc df2 never connects for me.
@@m3lodeth I suggest you split your practice into 3 parts. First is doing standing 3 into SNK stance. Second is cancelling SNK with dB then going into df. And finally df just long enough to get the full crouch state and hit 2. Practice those parts separately, then go for part 1+2, then part 2+3. Don't feel bad if you don't get it in your first few tries. A lot of it is muscle memory, not to forget the near just-frame window required.
Hey man! I main shaheen and so far am loving this channel. Do you plan to make videos about other characters? Or focus on Shaheen for now. Am really curious :)
@@Kepplar probably only Shaheen for now. I used to play Steve a lot back in t7 but I'm not that good with Steve's new stuff in t8
You won't be in heat yet, but you can charge it during round start lmao maybe get a CH launch off the non-heat version

If you can do the ws3 cancels, there is an easier way to get the same amount of damage. df2 > 3 snk cancel into fc df4,2 > db 2 snk > 3x ws3 cancel with bound and the usual fc df 2 into ff 4 ender in the open. Does the exact same amount of damage I believe
@@Okan02 oh I've done this before. It's definitely the easier version to do. Not so sure about damage being the same though.

@@SotitoFox yeah you're right. Maybe I'll make a habit of putting combo notations next time. For now I'll leave them in the desc

Damn this is sick. Been struggling with wall carry and converting to the wall as Shaheen so this is very helpful. I will definitely practice the ws3 loops now! On a side note, for a tornado on the wall after heat burst, is d.u2 better or db3,4? I've also seen f:b2 used recently, but haven't tried it myself
d. u2 should be the best option overall, but I don't know if that move connects after a heat burst on the wall generally speaking - I like to use single-hit tornado moves like f:b2 cause i want the full string of df4,1, delay 3 to hit unscaled
@@hermit6675 yes, the double hit of db3,4 has messed me up a few times because of consuming wall hits 😅 d.u2 does connect from what I've seen since heat bust is it's own kind of "spike reset", but I will mess around with f:b2 too now. Thanks!
Stuck on getting the dash D2
The microdash in my experience is super small, just a light forward tap is enough. Hope it helps

Sorry I mistyped, you still need to press ff. As in, lightly and quickly tap your ff input. I really mean it when just a smallest dash will help you connect your d2. It's really just a muscle memory thing.

I finally got these today after like a few months of even a regular snk cancel ws33 in a combo. the flow finally clicked on leverless and it's pretty consistent now. thanks for showcasing some full combos at the end
Some of my friends experimented on this combo and since I made this video, I've discovered more ways to combo into ws3 loops While ws1, d2 filler is helpful, I've found out that 3~df fcdf2 is the best and most consistent (and also most difficult) option so far. I made a vid on that too!
@@hermit6675 Oh sweet I'll check that out. I really only use FC df2 in the regular ender or in my low parry combo. much easier for me, but that move is pretty good
are you on pad? my issue is timing the db cancel for ws3. would help to know when to press db or df. like a visual guide i’ll see if i can read your frame data.
1 frame inputs? not sus at all lol.
I use keyboard. dB and dF inputs are way easier
