Not to say Bethesda did a fine job, but Black Isle started the progression of the BoS to where they are with Fallout: Tactics (and I think we can just ignore Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel). Tactics isn't considered canon because it's written so poorly and doesn't make sense, but it's the reason we ended up with the BoS coming to the east coast with a zeplin. It's still better than we get with later titles, but Black Isle wasn't perfect either, and I feel like ignoring Tactics is cherry-picking.

I said this a decade ago!!! We have fallout 1+2 and Baldurs Gate 1+2 and all we get is enhanced editions. These games are regarded as the best by so many players and just a week ago a person posted a video saying BG2 is best game they ever played. BG2 almost got my GF at the time to leave me its that good. How can no one see the potential sales in redoing these games. Crisp 3D models and animations and a 3D world but with the game mechanics and story of the old games is a win win. 15:14 we will never get this type of game ever again.

21:45 the issue with the Prydwyn is the fact that they depict it flying so low, the advantage of ridged airships is the fact that they can climb high and climb quickly, air craft in fallout are fairly rare with only a few factions having them in the entire wasteland so all the Prydwyn needs to do is sit high enough to avoid ground based fire, the issue is that in fallout 4 because Bethesda is staffed with brainlets the Prydwyn sits and flys into the commonwealth at a very low altitude meaning it can be hit with ground based attacks. Ignoring the issue with getting such a thing airborne if the devs actually depicted the air ship as flying higher than the Prydwyn would be effectively invincible and an amazing forward operating base.

About the show... I believe the "ghoul juice" is only for ghouls who are already in the process of going feral, thus not every ghoul would need it. It's also probably a recent invention in the world. I also do believe the whole not needing food/water thing is stupid, and that the Fallout 4 quest is incredibly dumb, but I'm still not sure the show is adherent to that logic. You could very easily say the IV also contained fluids for Cooper, as well as nutrients to sustain him, although it would be a bit of a stretch. It might make more sense to say ghouls could hibernate honestly, given how so many feral ghouls seem to go a long while without any food. Fallout 4 does however seem to say ghouls still need food though, given there's a quest relating to the brotherhood where an initiate sneaks food to a bunch of feral ghouls underneath the Boston Airport. Also, in the show's defence, we don't actually know if Thaddius is a ghoul, for all we know he could have been turned into a kind of mutant, as it's not like Cooper regrew his finger after Lucy bit it off.

I really like the combat in fallout 4 it's nice snappy and it's not idiotic like in fallout 3 and vegas like why does almost everytime I use a gun my character checks it again like the moron forgot that they loaded the gun wtf even when I'm level 20 he still does it idk why people the combat in vegas and 3 its really bad , also aiming most the time sucks ass their is basically no aiming in 3 and with other things but that doesn't matter so basically fallout 4 has the best crafting combat exploration and some fun side quests lol

It won't ever happen for Fallout because Bethesda doesn't want to buttress the lore they completely fùcked up. The only way they will remake Fallout 1 is if they can make the lore suitable to their ends of a nebulous everchanging set of rules that they can discard whenever they want. They'll always pick spectacle over worldbuilding and carefully constructed characters with unique dialogue. Each character of New Vegas has his or her own aesthetic that is completely organic. Autists write for Bethesda and their lack of history and understanding of basic human nature is laughable. You can't be a nerd who spent his entire life watching LoTR and the Simpsons and then write for a dramatic series that Fallout is. And that's all that Bethesda is, a buncha nerds who's ego prevents them from looking criticism and refuses to give Obsidian another shot at making another Fallout game.

Back in the day games were made for gamers, by gamers and with the knowloge that It was a niche market. Developers made games that they would like to play and wille profit was allweys a goal It was as a mean to keep making more games. When videogames became main stream with the advent of smartphones It shifted from a smal market were costumer satisfaction was the Key to sucses into a global market were extracting every last penny from the player is the goal. Every time you maximize short term profit It comes até the cost of long term prospects, add to It the balloning development costs of modern AAA games and colapsed becomes inevitable.

17:13 Yeah, having a larger frame of reference would make people more critical (and hopefully allow them to better express said criticism) when looking at modern games. Not Remakes, but Remasters (with some QOL improvements or even just putting some games back on the marketplace) would be huge in helping people understand how much worse a lot of newer games have gotten. A few examples of the remasters I'm referring to would be (aside from Diablo and Spyro, mentioned in the video) would be the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection, Crash N Sane Trilogy, Mass Effect LE, Resident Evil 1 (more of a remake). While they do have their own issues, they get the job done and more games need this treatment. Need for Speed (Underground 1, 2, Most Wanted 05, Carbon, Pro Street, Undercover) Mortal Kombat and Dragon Age (Origins, 2) are examples of games that could use that treatment

I'm a lady who enjoys the legion in the context of the game, they are strong, successful and better at what they do than the ncr. IRL I would HATE the idea of the legion because in modern day settings it would be regression for the sake of regression. What I like about the legion is that it’s accurate of what society would actually arise from civilization being destroyed all the societies thousands of years ago had slavery and serfdom so the legion is an accurate representation of what society would look like starting from scratch in the lore Arizona and New Mexico and Colorado were made up of tribes with their own dialects and language and it only solidified into a single unified state under a dictatorship like actual Rome so I think it’s really compelling that they went to not just create some weird evil faction but an accurate representation of what an post apocalyptic society would look like.

My boy, you should definitely make your own hypothetical dream fallout game. (ie: plot, location, mechanics of the game, guns, factions/new factions, lore, etc) I think that would make a really cool video. Try to tie in the lore into the already existing timeline as well, just an idea. Maybe this is just me being arrogant, but it's always annoyed me to see the potential of an IP go to waste. It sucks cause two of my favorite video game series, being FO and COD have completely wasted their creative potential over the years. In fallout 1 and 2 there are multiple events such as finding a star treck lander, the TARDIS from Dr.Who, talking cows, and many more examples of wacky stuff. Wacky stuff is the very heart of these games. Its like if you tried to say that Skyrim isn't a true Elder Scrolls game because the bandits system is dumb. Also as a final note, the ghoul child you find in the fridge is a dumb, however there are many context clues that could point to the "loud noises" the child heard being the Quincy massacre and not the great war, mean he only would have been in there for a short time. Furthermore there is no direct statement that the ghoul child is related by blood to his ghoul parents, and it is fully possible that, given they are all ghouls and cant have children, that these two ghouls adopted the child as there own, especially given that most people still don't trust ghouls in the modern games.

Generally I would say that the cazador route is easier to find and execute if you're willing to use a stealth boy to sneak past them or the courier's stash grenade rifle to cripple the cazadors from a distance. Sneaking up black mountain without being spotted by the nightkin requires more careful movement and isn't as obvious on the map, making it a route that generally takes more experience with the game to discover and execute, but aside from that is superior in almost every way using less resources and even giving you convenient items like the NCR disguise on the way. I also love that it lets you out right at the REPCONN HQ, where with the right build I can quickly pick up the Q-35 matter modulator and get a powerful energy weapon that can last the whole game.

I always go up the black mountain path where the Indiana jones rocks fall. You can take I-15 to the black mountain road and never leave the roads, you won’t be spotted. Surprised people even considered the cazador route.

Ave! I think it would be fine if there were a couple "sexy" ghouls kind of like they got lucky even though they were turned into ghouls, and conditions weren't as harsh or whatever. However, all ghouls now looking this way really bothers me as some things are supposed to be at least semi accurate to real life but more importantly the source material. irl high doses of radiation cause sloughing of the skin, its part of why ghouls look like rotting corpses, I always assumed that their bodies were constantly trying to heal but falling apart just as fast and that's why they look that way. this new ghoul design is just disappointing, imo Desmond Lockheart, and Charon were hot even though they look like walking corpses because of their personalities. This makeover of ghouls comes off as vain as well as just pointlessly inaccurate.
